âThis beautiful boutique hotel is perfectly located in Key West, about a 15 minute walk to the Hemingway house museum, the Southernmost point and Mallory Square. We stayed in a junior suite, which felt very spacious and luxurious. The only thing they might improve a bit on is the breakfast, which only contains sugary pastry and fruit. Some healthy bread options, yoghurt, meats or cheese would have made the stay completely flawless. This said, I would definitely stay here again.â

âKey west Ă€r ett mycket hĂ€rligt resemĂ„l. KĂ€nns som att vara i Karibien och inte i USA. Detta boende hade smĂ„ men mysiga och bekvĂ€ma rum, det serverades en enkel frukost och det finns pool. En bra cykeluthyrare finns precis i nĂ€rheten och hamnen med alla restauranger ligger jĂ€ttenĂ€ra. Duval street ligger ca 10 min gĂ„ngvĂ€g bort. â
âAmazing place! Feels really safe to stay inside a gated community a few blocks from Duval street with all the noise. Beautiful room, nice pool, excellent breakfast, excellent idea to be able to use the pool at Opal Key Resort. Really recommend this if you want a perfect and calm vacation in a Key West! Jen at the desk is just lovely. Nothing to complain about. â

"Stayed here in Tropical Suite Mo-Fri June-2025
The hotel is not maintained as it should. Lacking a lot of TLC.
Pros:
Nice quiet atmosphere.
Not too many people. No kids.
Breakfast included.
Comfortable bed.
Cons:
Dirty stained sofa in suite
The sink is loose and has come off the wall.
Air conditioning is very loud and is at 60 decibels. Fan doesnât work if light is turned off. Missing remote,
There is only a refrigerator in the suite. No kettle or coffee machine.( Had to buy this myself)
The pool area would need umbrellas for all the sunbeds. There is only one. Hot sun deck!
A lot of debris in the pool. Didnât see it get cleaned until Friday , the day we left.

The breakfast was lacking some days , and only half of the items were presented when a certain cleaning lady was working.
WiFi didnât work properly. Especially in the bedroom. Hard to get work done.
Doors get stuck. Both front door and bathroom door. My partner got locked in.
The worst thing was the cochroaches in the room. We had a hard time accepting this as normal even in we were in Florida.
Value for money is low.
Tip: Donât pick the rooms on ground floor next to entrance as everyone will see right into your room.
