  • Denna 711 kvadratmeter 1 sovrum, 1 badrum lägenhet sover fyra och ligger i River Run Village. Du är bara några steg från shopping, restauranger och lokala festligheter. Dessutom är du en kort promenad från höghastighetsgondolen.

    Ingången har monterade krokar och en bänk för din bekvämlighet när du kommer och går hela dagen. Vardagsrummet har en platt-TV bredvid en vacker eldstad. Den nya bäddsoffa i drottningstorlek erbjuder ytterligare bostäder. Det finns extra lakan och filtar i en garderob. Precis utanför vardagsområdet finns tillgång till den privata balkongen med utsikt över bergen.

    Det stora köket är utrustat med alla nödvändiga köksredskap och porslin för att göra en måltid hemifrån. Matsalen har ett träbord med traditionella stolar och har fyra sittplatser bekvämt. Det kompletta badrummet har dubbelt handfat och en kombination av dusch / badkar. Det är utrustat med handdukar och ett första utbud av toalettartiklar.

    Sovrummet har en king size-säng och en platt-TV. Fönster rader mot norra väggen och erbjuder utsikt över bergen.

Walk to the gondola

Overall, a good stay. The place was very roomy, but I felt like there were some small issues that could be addressed:-There were no curtains in the bedroom (only blinds) and this was somewhat annoying because the parking lot is lit all night.-Kitchen items are limited. Among the items, some of the sparsest ones were the 5 spoons and 4 bowls. Also the pans were pretty beat up. -The appliances were dated.

My husband and I are not billiards people, but we enjoyed the community room and played pool every night. We also enjoyed the hot tub--to ourselves. The condo was clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed.

The shower seemed a bit weak on pressure, even for a flow reducing showerhead.The entire complex is very nice and I enjoy staying in them. Close to the slopes and in the middle of the village makes it extremely convenient to pop in and out during the day.

Dumpy

The elevators don’t work which is a huge issue. The bldg isn’t taken care of. The management company says it’s the fault of the owners association, which frankly doesn’t mean much. Read about the years of complaints and you’ll see it’s a co aren’t issue, which means the fire department hasn’t truly co plied with elevator inspections. I’d shut the bldg down and disallow occupancy till they fix all the elevators. There are plenty of other problems with this bldg, but this was the most obvious required fix among any of them. I wouldn’t stay here again or in keystone either.

We enjoyed our stay for the price we paid but we would not come back.-We did not find a single employee at the resort that spoke English.-The employee break room is in the garage and was just below our room. This was an issue because they gathered in the break room and smoked pot which stunk up the garage and wafted up to our balcony. Pot may be legal in CO but not professional for a resort to allow it's employees to smoke around guests and to work around small children high.Also, because the room doesn't have AC, you have to have your windows/door open for air flow. This wasn't a problem at night as the evenings are cool and was very comfortable but with the smell of pot coming into our room it was very frustrating.Although we would not go back for the reasons listed, we would recommend to others due to the low price and others may not care about the issues we had.

Spacious and Comfortable in a Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic experience in Buffalo Lodge #8391 and would book the same unit again. If it isn't available, we'd book a different unit with Summit County Mountain Retreats, they made the trip easy.The unit was in a great location, on the 4th floor close to the elevator but tucked in a corner, so hallway traffic was never right at the door. It is quite spacious for a one bedroom and perfect for a couple. The appliances are older but in perfect condition. The king bed had a foam topper that made it quite comfortable.It is a straight, level walk from Buffalo Lodge to the River Run gondola. The ski school and gear rental is the first thing you pass.Because the unit faces a large parking lot, there is some vehicle noise, particularly pre-dawn when they plow the lot. We used the background-noise function of a cell phone to mask the vehicle sounds.The living room furniture was comfortable. Because there were just two of us we didn't use the sofa bed. (The bedding is inside the coffee table.)The fireplace is gas and activates with a flip of a switch. It warms up quickly and throws quite a bit of heat, which was nice in the morning since we kept the bedroom colder. The unit keys also open the garage, the lobby, and the ski locker room. If you go to the hot tub bring a key to get back into the lobby.We didn't use the lobby amenities or the laundry, but both looked nice.Summit County Mountain Retreats emailed very clear check in directions a week before arrival and again the day of arrival that made check-in a breeze. Our only hiccup was that the garage entrance is just past the "no thru traffic" sign.We hope to visit again.

They always provide a great experience at a fair price. We have never had a problem renting from SCMR but whenever we have had a question they are prompt to answer or respond. This condo was no exception. The location was great, it was well furnished and clean. While many photos are "expanded" to make areas look bigger, this condo was actually larger than it looked in the pictures. Would very comfortably accommodate 4 persons (if one bathroom would be enough). Highly recommend.

The property was clean and pretty safe. There were several nice shops right on property but their hours were inconsistent and several were not yet open or don't open in the summer. There was a lot of construction at and around the resort which made it challenging to get around. The area has become very touristy from what it used to be which took away from the experience for us and the locals in general seemed unhappy and unfriendly. The resort didnt seem to hire any English speaking employees and must not care that the employees are smoking pot and working high around the guests. This was a huge problem for us because the employee break room was just below our room and because there is no AC in the rooms, you need to have the windows open. I also dont appreciate my children being around high or drunk people outsideof my control. I personally find it unprofessional, others may not however. Overall, we would not go back to the resort or the area but outside of these issues, we enjoyed our vacation and found some amazingly beautiful places to hike and scenic drive.

My husband and I came up to the mountains this weekend for our birthdays and to enjoy the fall season. The condo itself was great - nice and roomy and clean. The lodge was a different story - when we got there, we found out that the elevator from the underground garage to the lodge was broken, so we had to grab a cart and wheel it up the ramp to outside, go around to the front of the lodge and wheel it up the handicap ramp. Huge inconvenience! When we were leaving for various activities, we had to use the stairs to get to the garage. That in itself, wasn't a big deal, but if we had been elderly or disabled, that would have been near to impossible. the lobby was clean, but the smell of cleaning solutions were over powering, so much so that I had to cover my nose and mouth just to breathe. There is a 10pm closure to the pool and hot tub, but apparently isn't enforced because there was a loud party right under our window until 1am one night. The condo faces the parking lot and highway, but can't really tell in pictures, and could hear road noise and people in the parking lot at all hours. Again, the condo itself was great, just wish it had been at the Red Hawk Lodge (much nicer and quieter, we were there a month before) than Buffalo Lodge. The property management group was great - easy to check in and out and very responsive. All that to say that we won't be back to this location.

Perfect location

This condo was the perfect little get away for the weekend with my husband! It was right next to all of the shops and restaurants, and right next to the lifts if you are staying in the winter. They even left a bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary! :)
