“The best thing about this motel is definitely the price. It’s also relatively easy to get to and is approximately a 40 minute drive from downtown Chicago. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The motel does require you to climb outdoor metal stairs that are quite steep, so if you have difficulty walking or climbing, that would be a challenge. The room was clean but a little worn. But it served the purpose of an affordable, clean, safe, friendly room to sleep. We were in Chicago...

“Hotell personalen var hemskt otrevliga! D

“Dorothy's is a nice place for people wanting easy access to a clean, SRO-style room in a good location with an invisible staff (online checkin).
Specific complaints: my room lacked both trash can and bedside light.
And the self-serve breakfast provided nice individual portions of yogurt and bags of nuts, but on neither morning was coffee available (happily there are places only blocks away to buy some).
Plus, charging extra for checking in 1-3-hours earlier than the 4pm check-in seems a...
