We came into town for a family reunion of 20 people of all ages and this place was perfect for it. Even though it was during December, when the cold weather will keep you inside, the spacious cabin and included amenities meant we had plenty of room and activities to keep the fun going! The house was spotlessly clean and the hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. The South-facing outdoor deck had a beautiful view of the lake and the ability to watch both sunrises and sunsets (at least during the winter). Overall, it was a wonderful stay for everyone and our reunion was the best that we could have hoped for! We'd definitely consider staying here again another time.

This property is pretty amazing. It truly exceeded our expectations. So much beautiful light, perfectly appointed, gorgeous decor. All the amenities...hot tub, pool, tabletop shuffleboard, washer/dryer...were appreciated by all of us. Plenty of room to spread out, play games, watch movies, cook big group meals. And the property owners were fabulous to deal with...answered questions, responded quickly, helped with suggestions of things to do. Ten out of ten, people!

Dream Vacation at the Wild Lake Retreat

We absolutely loved staying at the Wild Lake Retreat. We've stayed a lot of VRBOs and this was by far our family favorite. It was a perfect getaway that was beautifully put together and was full of so many thoughtful details that made it feel like a home away from home. We especially loved how relaxing the house was designed and the communication from our hosts. We had everything we needed for a much-needed spring vacation and we'll definitely be returning because we'd love to spend Christmas here.

Family Christmas Getaway

This property exceeded our expectations! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! The home is decorated beautifully throughout with attention paid to detail! Our family of 15 spent 3 nights celebrating our family Christmas, and we were all so sad when it came time to leave. Loved that the property had high chairs for an infant (my youngest grandbaby is one) those were super convenient! We enjoyed a magical Christmas here and we will definitely be back!

Home Away from Home

We had a great time at John and Michelle‘s cabin. Amenities were available, the place was clean, the view was stunning, and there was more space than we could ever need. There was plenty of entertainment in the house, and we hated leaving its comfort. Thank you Michelle and Jon for creating a home away from home environment, everyone loved it.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Wild Lake Retreat! The house was so well appointed and we appreciated the special touches throughout the home-books on all of the shelves, toys and games for the kids, and record players with many records to enjoy. There was more than enough space for our group of 14, the views were beautiful, and we loved being across the street from the pool. We will definitely be back!

Everything we were hoping for

We had three generations of the family meet here for a quick reunion. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. It was a treat to have so many king size beds and numerous bathrooms. The mattresses were comfortable. The hosts anticipated so many details, like shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, towels, games, and more. The kids loved played pool and the community lazy river and pool were a hit. This house will set the bar high for future gatherings

Branson Family Vacation 2024

The property is beautiful, spacious, and well organized. Plenty of room on every floor to spread out and enjoy the space. Nice view, large upper balcony, and large lower patio. Neighborhood is brand new with many amenities. It is very busy and active. Hosts were delightful. Fantastic in every way. No complaints, just a couple of suggestions, probably need to use the umbrella provided for the upper balcony as it is not covered so there isn't much shade in the upper balcony. However, there is a lower patio where the upper covers it and provides complete shade. The view is excellent but does not have 100% of a direct view of the water. Was easy to see though. We would highly recommend this property.

The Wild Lake Retreat: Beautiful, Relaxing, Fun

What a great place for a family get-away. Everything about it encouraged relaxation and fun. The décor was stunning, yet homey. There was plenty of space for a family to spread out or hang together. The view of the Lake was so peaceful and the lazy river just across the street was so convenient for a refreshing dip in the pool. We enjoyed shows in Branson, only a short drive away, but also appreciated coming back to the comfort of The Wild Lake Retreat and all the amenities it had to offer. The beautiful, large kitchen was extremely well stocked, and the hosts provided something for everyone: private hot tub, games, pool table, shuffleboard, wall scrabble and TVs galore. Anytime we had any questions, the hosts were quick to respond and so pleasant to work with. Definitely will be back!
