The Gibb River Road is an absolutely amazing experience. Its in my Top 5 List of Places to Visit in Australia and it is truly a special destination with postcard perfect waterholes, pounding waterfalls and spectacular sunsets over one of Australia's most picturesque ranges, the Cockburns! (not pronounced as dirty as its spelt, but rather as 'coburn'.) You can hire a 4WD from Broome or Kununurra or jump on a tour with one of the off-road tour buses. Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a ...

Shower curtain was filthy, I was bitten over night on my hands overnight, only 2 tea bags in the room, no iron which was fine but no option to borrow one either. Free internet is useless but was warned about that on check in. Phone signal is minimal.

One of our favorite stops along the Gibb River Road was visiting Tunnel Creek. Bring a bright glowing torch to walk through the natural cave here and beware of the occasional small and "harmless" freshwater crocodiles that might be down there by the water!
