We are the original ski resort, so yes, our building is in need of updating, but we strive to have the friendliest staff and make the guest rooms as comfortable as possible with high-end mattresses and linens. Our chairs, are, in fact, new this past year and a big update from the previous chairs. If you stayed in a loft room, you may have experienced older furniture as some of those rooms are not owned by us. We make it VERY clear that we do not have an elevator, it is on all of our printed information, our website, our confirmation letter and if you make a reservation via phone, we go over all of this in detail, so people know exactly what to expect when they arrive. I hope, due to the positive items you listed, that we will see you again in the future.

Robyn, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at the Inn. We are the original resort on Sugarloaf Mountain and our property is dated, but we work very hard to make sure the rooms are clean and comfortable. All websites we are affiliated with very specifically mention that our rooms are walk-up only, but we are always happy to assist with luggage. We wish you would have expressed your opinions to us during your stay, so that we would have been able to address them while you were here.

On our website, we have a section dedicated to a list of restaurants in the area that are open, so you are able to find something good to eat. The Shipyard Brew Haus is only open during the winter season.

Thank you for the nice review of our lovely mountain. We try to let everyone know upon booking that we do not have an elevator or appliances in the rooms. Sadly, being a older building, we do not have the electrical bandwidth needed to have appliances in each room. We hope to see you again soon!
