This is an older property that was probably very nice in its day. Although our room was reasonably clean, it had a musty odor. We would have asked to change rooms, but since the lobby had a similar smell, I didn’t think it would do any good.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfy bed (although two pillows not enough haha). There was 2 trains that came through, but we had the heater on the room because of a chilly night. So we did not really hear it that much. No free breakfast but the diner had really really great food and Schyler and Sabrina were both excellent servers. The murals were gorgeous, the pool and gazebo was very pretty as well. Definitely will be back.

This property is good for the value. The room was very basic, but it was clicking. The Bathroom could have done with a little updating, but like I said overall, the room was clean and comfortable.

Outdated, no soap when I got in room. Staff I checked in with was friendly and fixed. Tub needs more non slip strips. Gym was poor. Broken equipment, looked like nobody cared. Fridge didn't work, old ice cream left behind from previous guest, gross. When I checked out early morning the desk clerk was asleep. 2nd stay there, but won't repeat. Unfortunate, because the concept is really cool, and I even bought a route 66 shirt from gift shop. I was left thinking that the parent organization doesn't care about this property. Pretty disappointing.

It was confusing about payment. I was notified by my credit cardcthe charge had been made and the hotel did not confirm that. This needs to be more clear for both parties.

If you're a light sleeper not for you. Train tracks right behind property. Whistle didn't blow but you can hear the train very clearly Also, the concrete corridors echoed so much even the morning birds chirping was very loud.

Nice upgrades to the rooms since our last stay 2 years ago, except in the shower tub area. Noisy fan/light combo. Grounds could be better maintained. Loved the murals of 50’s and 60’s movie stars.

Really cool Vintage motel on Route 66. On top of the cool vintage vibe, the Route 66 Diner was great! Basic menu, very reasonable prices, and sports on the TV's. The Route 66 Nachos were fantastic!

The hotel is in good location, with cool decorations in the front. The building is renovated; furniture is minimum. Good stopping rest on the way to the Grand Canyon.

Immediately after checking in my little one discovered the toilet was clogged. It took maintenance two calls and about 50 minutes to respond. Another 30 minutes to fix and he smelled like he had been drinking heavily all day…week. After he left I had to clean the floor around the toilet and I used a wash rag…my mistake… it was BLACK. The floor needed a good clean. The Expedia page we booked on stated “breakfast” was availible and my mind thought included so maybe new wording. No coffee available in lobby. We got in late and didn’t turn on the tv but the next morning I turned it on to catch the weather and the forecaster had a roach stuck to her nose…. There was roaches in the screen! I took pics but don’t see how to upload here. We quickly got out of there and had to pull over and take about an hour to repack and check our belongings. The front desk was amazing and the paintings a delight. I don’t think I’d stop here again though.

Very nice owners. I get the feeling this place is owned by a family and their relatives. Old and stained carpet throughout. Walls need repair and paint. Bed was comfy though. I had my 22 lb dog with me and she was quiet but the little dog across the hall never stopped barking. It would be nice if those who bring their dogs would use a (non-shock) bark collar. I would rate it 2 1/2 stars

We were in the process of moving my disabled mother-in-law to an insisted living facility in California. As a result we had a lot of luggage to carry but they had no carts to carry our luggage to our room. The room was a long distance from the car and they had signs everywhere stating you should not leave your valuables in the car for safety reasons. The area where you parked your cars was very dark and hidden from the public so it did not seem like a very safe place to leave anything of value. It would’ve been too much to carry all of our belongings inside without the assistance of a cart and the hotel offered no help so I advised the hotel clerk that we would not be able to stay there after all given the situation. They refused to refund our prepaid charges. We ended up staying somewhere else.

It was a good place to stay. It was the best bed on my 10 day 4 hotel trip. The staff is very accomodating on needs. IE: extra pillows.etc.

Moving across the country and needed a place to sleep with my husband and dog. Was a perfect place for that, loved that they had a little dog park in the back so my dog could run around in the morning! We stayed in a recently remolded room and was nice and clean
