Packsaddle Paradise

The property is wonderful- serene, relaxing and comfortable. The back porch area is a perfect place to hang out and view the water. The house is decorated beautifully and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Great location- we enjoyed our stay!

Easter Family Gathering

This home has ample space for our three adult children, their spouses, and our four toddler grand children. The outdoor patio and yard leading up to the extensive beach was a perfect setting to gather together and visit. I wish we had more time to stay at this property.

Lakehouse with a view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The view from the back patio was amazing! We spent so much time out there and ate every meal out there. Would definitely rent this place again.

It was amazing!

Spacious, beautiful and very relaxing. We had 4 couples (8 adults) and 4 children and it was comfortable for everybody. It’s a bit far from where we live but besides distance we would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a group!

This is our second stay here and it's absolutely perfect for a large group. We had 12 people total and everyone slept comfortably, with plenty of bathrooms. The house layout is awesome, and the back porch is STUNNING. Loved the closeness to the water. We will be back!

Great House with Fantastic Property

The house clean, organized, and actually larger than expected. The back patio (the main reason we booked the house) was better than expected, and where we spent the majority of our time. The property is beautiful, with great, private access to the water.

Surprise 60th

This property is huge and gorgeous! Everything is as the photos shows and the kitchen goes above and beyond. We spent so much time on the back patio cooking and playing the games provided. The home is spacious and open floor and plan. The location is ideal and a short drive to larger towns. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

80 birthday for husband, dad pap, great grandpa.

We did it all: kayaking, paddle board(water was freezing cold) fire pit, cornhole, fighting over hammock, reading, played games, grilled burgers, wonderful food was enjoyed all day, slept hours after exhausting day. We spent quiet time with our family. Much needed.

We had a fantastic time at your home. The kitchen has plenty of cookware and utensils for preparing and cooking your meals. We enjoyed cocktails, games and relaxing evening views from the extra large patio area. The was perfect for cooling off. We were thankful for sandy/gravel like river bottom. It’s nice not to have grasses and such tickling your legs while in the water.

Bake at The Lake!

We had the best time even with the extra hot temperatures this weekend. The house was amazing, clean, very comfortable & spacious. Outdoor kitchen was over the top & had plenty of seating for everyone. Beach was clean & easy water entry. We brought our own beach chairs & shade tents which are a must. Check in & out was super easy. Rental agency was very easy to work with & quick to respond to all of our questions before we got there. We are hoping to return again next year! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome Christmas!

We all arrived at different times from Port Arthur, Houston and Austin. The area didn’t look that great at night but in the morning we loved the views! Seeing the deer and watching our young adults kayaking were high lights. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. All of the bedrooms were great especially the 5th one upstairs. It was perfect for our young adult children! We definitely want to return to this property.

Relaxing

There were 12 of us, all adults. There was plenty of room. We really had a good time. The patio is where we spent most of our time. It is covered and lots of room. The only problem it is August 2023 and it was hot. Of course that has nothing to do with the house. If was stocked with everything we needed. I will stay there again for our large family vacation.

Wonderful summer vacation

We had a wonderful time for a week in July. The outdoor area is amazing. The views are beautiful and the house had everything we needed. There was a total of three families in our group. We all fit comfortably in the house and the upstairs loft was perfect for the kids. We barely heard them upstairs. The only issue we had was the dryer took an about three cycles to dry clothes. We just made sure to give ourselves extra time to do laundry.

Highland Lakes fun weekend

Back porch is a great family area. Sandy beach was very family friendly. Grass was 5 inches tall in the back area with huge crop of mature sticker burrs. But we notified the management and they had a crew out the next morning. Sticker burrs were a real hazard with the kids having to be carried through that portion of the lawn. Need to mow more frequently to avoid the issue. All in all a great weekend!

Great place for family

The house and location were as described, and the loft was great for the kids. Enough room to spread out. It was very nice. However, we checked in on Friday. The grass in back where we planned to play lawn games was not mowed and extremely tall and thick. You would have thought they would have made arrangements to have the lawn mowed the morning of check-in. This is not a cheap rental and the tall grass and sprinklers running for hours each morning were definitely an inconvenience. The lower yard was full of stickers, which they do mention, one would think that could be treated to kill off the stickers and give you more room for outside activities. Overall it was a nice place to gather with family.
