**We also occasionally rent the guest house cottage down the hill however the two homes feel very separate and private. From the main house, there is no direct view of the cottage — it sits down the hill and on the gable end, out of sight. The cottage also has its own driveway, parking area, and private entrance, so there’s no overlap in arrivals or day-to-day use of the property.
No amenities are shared between the two homes, with the only exception being the pool during the summer months. Otherwise, guests tend to feel as though they have the property entirely to themselves.
