âThe owner was very helpful & accommodating, changed me from a twin room to a double & the restaurant isn't open so gave me a list of places to go for takeawayâ
âLove the inn is so close to the river, very lovely view and walk along it. Excellent food served at the inn and all the staff were very friendly during our stay. The door to our room was a bit stiff and hard to get into, and the bathroom ceiling was a bit mouldy, but other than that the stay was so wonderful and we would definitely come back again.â
âIt was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

âOld-fashioned but very nice place to stay. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room towards the street.....as the hotel wasn't very busy i would've thought I'd be given a room towards the back.

âVistades pĂ„ hotellet i fyra dygn. Vi hade rum 206 pĂ„ hotellet. Vi sade till första dagen att alla kalkstensplattor i badrummet var lösa och att det luktade avlopp nĂ€r man öppnade ytterdörren. Tror inte att badrumsgolvet kommer att Ă„tgĂ€rdas och det kĂ€nns oacceptabelt att de lĂ„ter gĂ€ster bo i rummet.â
âCentralt lĂ€ge och trevlig personal men det var jobbigt att sova eftersom trots hög vĂ€rme fanns ingen luftkonditionering och fönstret fick öppnas bara en spalt. Dessutom fanns en vĂ€ldig högljud flĂ€kt direkt utanför fönstret och den var pĂ„ mellan ca 22:30 och 6. Frukost för dyrt. TV omöjligt att fĂ„ igĂ„ng, trots skriftliga anvisningar som jag lĂ€ste.â
âBeautiful place, with excellent staff.
We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.â
âDated, but with enough charm to make this aspect fade into insignificance. Great area too - plenty of on-site parking, peaceful, and with fantastic views from the dining area.â

âThis was for us a pleasent surprise. A very nice room a good pub/restaurant very helpful staff . No AC open window. Good parking at the back. No lift. Some updating needed. But overall a very good hotelâ
âOur first time at The Green Man and we will be returning.
Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent.
They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful.â
