“Me and my fiancee checked in at the Hotel Clarion Kiribathgoda. After about 45 minutes - 1 hour in the lobby we finally got our room (Trouble with the hotels.com booking). When we finally got the room we weren't satisfied with the standard (Dirty, a lot of water dripping from the AC and the smell of smoke in the whole room). I went to the reception and asked the staff if we could swith to a better room and that I was willing to pay the difference. I was then told that the hotel was completely...

“Huge modern room, great location and staff were very helpful. Shower was fantastic nice hot water and great pressure. It felt like everything was new in the room. Tv still had the plastic on (never used it) A/C worked as expected etc.”

“Saminda (hope I got it right) and his family welcomed us with open arms when we arrived in the evening. His wife cooked us a delicious (and spicy) dinner and also served a nice breakfast in the morning, including fruits grown in his own garden! Their mangos were the best we've had! Also clean room, comfy bed and well functioning AC. What we really enjoyed was the personal touch, meeting the whole family and get a feeling for the local tradition and cuisine.”

“A very cozy place with just a short walk to the beach and shoppingstreet. Very nice staff that was so helpful when my mum forgot her phone at the hotel when leaving for the airport. Very nice breakfast and the best coffee I had in Sri Lanka.”

“Ett nytt hotell, 6 mån gammalt. Fräscht och otroligt hjälpsamma ägare . Ligger lite avsides från staden men tyst och lugnt. Tar ca 10 min att gå upp till huvudgatan.. För 2000 rupier kör ägaren till flygplatsen , ca 15 min. Rekommenderar det starkt. Redan bokat ytterligare en natt när vi kommer tillbaka efter vår rundresa på Sri Lanka.. God och riklig frukost..
