Hotell i Kirkby Ireleth

“Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Sort walk to the local village for the train station , cafe and pub ”

“Wifi var uselt - tur att jag inte behövde det för viktiga förberedelser inför morgondagen. Någon hjälp med att åtgärda det fick jag inte - byte av rum erbjöds men..... Bortsett från det - om man vill koppla av och njuta av omgivningen är detta THE PLACE to be. Bra frukost - bra parkering.”

“ウィンダミアに行くときは必ずここに泊まります。 今回は3泊しましたが、あいにく体調が完全では無く、ホテルでの夕食は1度しか食べられなかったのが残念です。 食事もスタッフの対応も、そして庭園も含めてゆったりと過ごせる隠れ家にしたい場所です。”

“First of all, big shoutouts to the amazing staff! Andy, Wayne, Greg, and all the rest. You made my stay a joy. The room I stayed in was bigger than I expected, given the building looking quite small and old from the outside. The condition was good but not perfect, but not less than you’d expect from the price and general appearance of the place. The food in the restaurant was great and decently priced. I liked that the pub was crowded with people not staying at the inn, which to me is a...

“Fantastic service and feelgood place:-) ”

“The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was...

“Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return.”

“Well appointed room with everything you need and stunning view.”

“Excellent country hotel, not too far from Windermere. Seems to be a dog and dogowners haven! I really liked the presence of the cute dogs. Surroundings very lovely. Please be aware that there are no restaurants in the vicinty and hotel has limited capacity in theirs. After a full day on the lake we came back to the hotel and no dinner😡”

“A beautiful setting. The parkland with peacocks and chickens was great to walk around with our dog. Rooms spacious and clean with good facilities and restaurant food excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful - a great place to stay especially as a base for walking/visiting the Lake Distrct.”

“Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...
