“Great place to stay for a few days rest and relaxation. The location is great for walks, dog walks, beach walks or just having a few days in a quiet location to chill. The hotel manager (Caroline) and staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The bar and restaurant are constantly busy with locals and visitors that makes for a great friendly atmosphere. “Fantastic place ! We stayed in the Parisian room and it was absolutely stunning. Loved the little touches, electric blinds , TV in the bathroom,espresso machine etc .. also right in the middle of KL , all different type of restaurants. Breakfast at the Royal was very nice too ! We will certainly come back and will try a different room next time !”

“We lived in this hotel on 4th july. It was a terriable experience.There were bugs in that room.In the morning my wife saw the bug which climbed to her arm.she got bitten in arm,chest,leg and waist.it was bloody.we asked half of the price back.but they refused.It is totally low and respectless. It was noisy outside.The room smelled moldy and strange.the carpet and toilet were dirty.We darenot speak in the room.because we can hear clearly the couple speaking in another room.There was no breakfast...

“From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.”
