“I and the wife spend a weekend away for out anniversary to walk around some of lovely Yorkshire. The staff at the Gamekeepers are incredible proud of their establishment, they were always kind courteous and helpful. Special compliments for Dan, he was always helpful communitive and friendly. “Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. “The room was tidy and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived early and placed our case in the room when if was ready. My wife really enjoyed the spa which is located a short walk across the road from the hotel. We would have preferred an self service open buffet style continental breakfast”
