“This was my first visit to York and the Ryedale cottages was the best place to stay while in the area. The house is lovely with comfortable beds, clean linens, and loads of games to play as a family. There are miles of walking trails and some cheeky sheep to see up the road. The view from the front of the house was beautiful and the hosts were so lovely. We arrived with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator and a Victoria sponge on the table waiting for us. The kitchen is a bit narrow...

“What a gem - in quiet village - our go to place to stay to visit Designer Outlet and York city the next day - staff extremely welcoming and helpful - cosy country atmosphere -our second stay and will be going back to try the super menu for Sunday lunch - thanks team for making our stays so perfect every time !!!”

“A busy Inn in the heart of Whitby. Pub downstairs where live music is played until 23:00 and nice newly renowated rooms upstairs. Not possible to have breakfast in the morning due to the pub not being open. Once the pub is closed there's no place to be except for your room, no lounge or so but a nice place to stay at.”
