Very clean and spacious. Not a true 2 bedroom apartment but will sleep four guests by sacrificing the living room futon. Very nice neighborhood.

Our host was great and the property was clean, comfortable, well lit, well furnished and an enjoyable place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Unit was as advertised. Very clean. Easy communication when needed.Everything was great for our stay.There was no thermostat control in the unit but when requested, temperature was adjusted and a space heater and fan are also provided.

The place was a bit hard to locate at night, a lit sign, a lit path to basement door would help,I had to use my phone light to navigate. There is an outdoor motion light, which would have helped to get the key and open the door,but the switch was turned off when I arrivedAppliances were excellent, decent dishes and silverware. It was quite cold, and no way to control the heat. I would not call this two bedroom either. It had one bedroom and a couch. Well lit inside. Plenty of stores close by.Overall happy, very clean interior, did not feel like a basement. Great communication with host.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very cozy, with lots of natural light, and a very comfortable bed. The host is excellent and happily provided what we needed. My wife and I look forward to staying here again next time we're in town.

My friend and I stayed from October 16th - 20th and had a wonderful time. The host was available to answer our questions and provide us with whatever was needed. The property itself is modern, clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the little homey touches, such as the October decor and tea caddy with biscuits and other treats. I definitely hope to stay there again for future visits to Guelph!

Visiting to host Book club, and stayed for 2 nights. Both beds comfortable, but one is a fold out couch in living room. All the gadgets you could want, and very modern decor. Happy to stay again

Very clean and private. We had the ability to walk to a shopping pliza for necessities. It's listed as a two bedroom but is actually a one bedroom with a pull out bed in living room.

Overall, this is a very nice, modern basement apartment located in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped with relatively new appliances, and the bed was comfortable. There were, however, two things that impacted my experience: Temperature: There wasn't a thermostat available to control the temperature, and because the apartment is in the basement, it was quite cold throughout my stay. Even though it was quite hot and humid outside, I found myself wearing warm socks, long pants, and wrapping up in a blanket whenever I was in the apartment. Noise: The hosts have one or two dogs that barked fairly frequently throughout the day, sometimes starting around 8:00 a.m. and continuing as late as 11:30 p.m. Since the it's in the basement of a home, the walls are quite thin, the barking was very loud and, at times, disruptive, especially when trying to sleep. Aside from these two issues, the apartment itself was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay.

Host did not leave enough parking space on the driveway nor informed me Guelph city rules that you can't park on the street. We are from out of town/province where rules like this don't exist. The streets don't have signs themselves and I incurred a 50 fine as a result. There was in house laundry but no laundry soap. Dogs upstairs barked until midnight on our last nights stay. We have dogs at home and understand barking but this was pretty excessive considering the apartment is downstairs. Otherwise a clean unit and beds were comfortable.
