Located 3 short blocks from the Elora Mill this charming studio is located in the heart of Elora, across from Bissell Park.
The Studio Apartment is in a separate, private building at the back of the property which has a private entrance, private front deck and private garden area along with a parking spot for one vehicle.
The wifi has recently been upgraded to the EERO mesh system to help connect you to work and leisure activities.
Bissell Park, located directly across the road, has a boardwalk along the Grand River you can stroll with your morning coffee.

Sophie was wonderful, even checking we made it through an ice storm!The cottage is fantastic, very cozy, quiet and has everything you need. It is also two blocks from downtown Elora. Definitely stay again sometime

Great location for winter or summer travel. The space is perfect for a couple and has everything you could possibly need. Communication with Sophie was amazing. She often reached out to offer advice/provide details without being asked. You can see and feel the pride she takes in hosting.

Another fantastic stay! The studio is just as special as the Victorian. Comfortable bed, amazing shower and a fully equipped kitchen. We especially appreciated the cozy outdoor spaces. Our host Sophie was so accommodating and friendly. This is a fantastic home away from home in the prettiest village in Ontario.

Sophie's Studio Apartment in Elora was fabulous! it had everything we needed and more. The space was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. She thought of everything, and then some. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night after a day exploring the area. Shops and restaurants were easily walkable and Sophie very helpful suggesting what to see and do. We'll be back!

The property was just beautiful. It felt so secluded and private. In the gardens we saw birds a chipmunk and even a cute rabbit. It felt like we where out in nature.Inside the studio was beautiful. The decor was very eclectic. The bed was very comfortable and nice bedding. The studio was spotless, very warm and welcoming.Sophie had pamphlets showing you what was happening in town and even let us know about the farmer's market that was on just across the street. Couldn't have asked for a better host. There if you needed her but gave you your privacy also. She has a book out for you when you arrive to give you the history of how she came to live in Elora and the journey behind it. Such a nice touch we thought and very inspiring. You can't beat the location either. You can walk to almost everything. This is a great bonus because as we noticed parking can be very challenging in town. Plus you get to enjoy the beauty of the area walking close up.We highly recommend staying at the Studio.Thank you for making our 40th Anniversary so special Sophie we will be back.

On the porch enjoying the surroundings while ready the documents Sophie left about the Studio etc..
Loved having this door so you could still enjoy the outside view and fresh air while being inside at night.

Fantastic studio close to everything in Elora

We had a awesome stay at the Studio apartment which had a fabulous shower and everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Relaxing space inside and outside the studio. We enjoyed that it was within walking distance of a park to walk the dogs and restaurants, coffee shops and food shopping.

The Studio is an airy welcoming space, well appointed and the shower water pressure is excellent. We stayed in early June, and in the late afternoon sun from a large round window scattered little mini rainbows across a wall. The property is expertly landscaped with places to sit and whimsical touches like a fairytale wrought iron gate. The host offered timely and helpful suggestions about things to do. The location is fantastic, close to the heart of the action but with just enough distance to be a retreat. It’s also across from a park with good foot access to the river and a farmer’s market on Saturday mornings which we happened to overlap with. Absolutely no hesitation about staying there again.

peaceful, cozy getaway

a very nice, comfortable, cozy studio in a great location. It is close to restaurants, the main street in the village, a hiking trail and a lovely little riverside park. All the amenities are provided, including dog supplies, cooking supplies, a nice shower with soap and shampoo etc. Really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to returning in each season (spring, summer, fall and winter) in 2025!

Perfect Elora Getaway

Sophie’s little cottage is absolutely stunning, even better than pictured. So many thoughtful details, stylish, immaculate, and very comfortable for a couple. A short walk to shops and restaurants, this is the perfect place to stay. The gardens are beautiful and we were happy to enjoy the afternoons relaxing in such a peaceful place. Communication with Sophie was great. Highly recommend this little gem!

A little piece of heaven!

Sophie, our host, was amazing! She has thought of every little detail which made our stay truly feel like our home away from home. Beautiful Elora Getaway

My family had an incredible stay. The studio was clean, artistically decorated and had everything we needed. It is a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The garden and private patio area make the stay so relaxing. We hope to be back again soon.
