âThis was an amazing motel. The kitchen had every utensils that we needed during our stay. Even though it was basically in the middle of nowhere, the car ride into Selfoss didnât feel that long (the view is making it feel closer). The only negative I have to say is that the beds were rock hard, but we solved it by sleeping on the extra comforters from the bunk beds. I would highly recommend this motel, and Iâll consider another stay if I come back to the same area. â
âWe were very happy with this room which is more of a small apartment. Modern, very clean and quiet. Also had stovetop, fridge, freezer but no microwave. The bed was comfortable and the best we slept in during our road trip in Iceland.

âThe area around this property felt so scenic and tranquil. The set up of the property itself was pretty basic / minimalist, but it was as described and very reasonable for the price. Everything was in working order and the communication was good.â

Iâm glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, canât wait to be back! â
