“Jättetrevlig personal! Fina rum. Supergod frukost! ”

“The location is convenient to walk to town. The first few photos on the Expedia listing show a lovely play park- this is not part of the hotel and is actually 3.5km away. We booked this property as we have a small child, but this property is a series of dreary apartments around a small car park. There is no garden or play area. We booked via Expedia and included in the booking that we have a small child. On arrival we were charged an additional 15 euros for the cot bed. This is ridiculous...

“Friendly English speaking staff, quick check in.”

“I was missing soap in the hotel room for the two days there. Not fixed even after I told the staff.”

“Vi är en familj på fem personer. Vi bodde i en lägenhet bredvid hotellet. Den var inte ordentligt städad och låg standard. Vi åt frukost på hotellet och den var bra.”

Listing a property on Expedia should include mention that English is not widely spoken when appropriate. Except for the cave steam bath, there...

“This place is perfect, I would recommend it very highly. It is very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the host was very helpful! ”

“This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia). The hotel owner was working the desk, and was extremely friendly and helpful. There is convenient and secure parking under the hotel. There are a few tourist attractions in town (most interesting - the mine tour) and there are other...
