Will I come back?
They claim to be a 4.5 star hotel. There are 4 or 5, no 4.5. The room was fantastic, the staff friendly and serviceminded. But there was a long wait for dinner, the staff ran back and forth between the tables to catch up, even though we were very few who had dinner. This made me as a guest feel stressed. The food was good but not worth 5 stars. Also tried the drinks which did not impress. The hotel is far from restaurants and shops. I had to rent a motorbike at the hotel. Overall a nice stay, will I come back? No.

Hotellet är väldigt fint och ligger precis vid havet. Fina rum med allt man behöver. Ligger en bit ifrån vägen så att ha moped rekommenderas. Vi bodde i rummet som har egen pool vilket va härligt, dock inte så mycket tid med sol där. Frukosten är också väldigt bra.

Lovely old thaistyle
This resort is secluded, so you cant walk out the gates and find markets, bars - youll find nature, which for me was perfect, makes this a very relaxing place even if its a big place you get a naturevibe here. About 1 km up to the mailroad (walk or take free shuttle), here you find small shops (7eleven), pharmacy, restaurants, cafes - but not any "nightlife". For nightlife you need to take a taxi to White sand beach, lonely beach or other place. We did a couple of nights and it worked fine getting to and from resort by taxi. The resort is very nice, new, fresh and clean. Stayed in a garden room, very nice and big, huge bathroom, nice veranda. Only one restaurant in resort, it was good but need another one for variation (but I think this was in construction). whole resort has old thai style, very nice ambiance. Staff is very nice, attentive - special thanks to Supalak and Tikkarin who did the thaidancing at night and live thaimusic at breakfast, very nice to talk to and even tried to teach me to play thaiinstrument (sorry for being "unteachable"). Great breakfast buffet, lots of western and asian options. BBQ buffet night was good. Nice beach for walking - some restaurants on the beach - the best is the one closest to resort (right side of resort if facing sea). Nice poolarea, when we stayed here no problem finding sunbeds. brilliant sunset views. Loved this place, nice secluded, relaxing but partylife just a short taxiride away if you suddenly crave it. Highly recommended.

I love this place
The resort is amazing. Lovely staff, great area, beautiful beach, great service, amazing rooms. Me and my brother stayed in a pool villa for 10 nights and we loved it. Totally recommend this place! And to give som constructive feedback to the hotel: The breakfast is 5/5, its super. However the lunch and dinner menu is not really in the same league. The food is fine, but not amazing. And since dinner and lunch is a bit pricey on the resort compared to the restaurants in the area (with by the way is totally understandable and fine), you would just expect a little more from the kitchen. Also, this might just be me, but I'm not to keen about the live music at night. The sing a song-performances don't really add to the atmosphere. Maybe that's just me, but I don't really enjoy someone doing guitar covers of classic rock and pop songs. Although I LOVED the other performances. The fire shows on the beach, the thai dancers were amazing, and the two guys that played that thai instrument at the reception, and at breakfast, and at dinner - I love them. They're great. They feel authentic and Thai, and really friendly and talented. So I really loved all your shows and happenings except the sing a song-couple. Also, the drinks in the bar was totally okay but not excellent. Otherwise all staff was excellent, especially the food runners and the cleaning people. Really nice. I love you guys, and Ill be back soon!

Great hotel, Shame about the mosquitos
Booked villa with private pool. Nice room. Poorly located adjacent to rear of hotel restaurant. Problem with noise from a/c and other machinery. Also, problem with mosquitos in room. Large gaps in window and door frames allowed insects easy access to bathroom and bedroom. Great breakfast, super location, friendly staff. Overall, Nice place to stay, but stock up on mosquito repellent. Btw Reccommend booking villa instead of main building, the nicer location and setting are worth paying extra for.

Härlig avkoppling
Vi bodde 9 nätter på detta hotellet och hade det väldigt bra. Reste med en 10 månaders bebis och fick hjälp med allt vi behövde. Poolområdet var bra och man kunde alltid hitta skugga någonstans där vår kille kunde leka/sova. På kvällarna kunde man lätt gå till flera restauranger som låg nära längs stranden. Om man ska klaga på något så var det att restaurang priserna var väldigt dyra på hotellet i jämförelse så vi åt där bara en kväll. Men det fanns som sagt bra alternativ i närheten. Hotellets frukost var väldigt god och fanns mycket att välja på så man tröttnade inte

It is a beautiful resort. Stayed 2 nights, first night in villa with private pool and second in deluxe room. Both were great in terms of layout, comfortness and details. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast amazing. Pool area very nice. Used the gym and the man who works there is very good help for stretching! He has a 5 min stretch/bend program that he helped me and my girlfriend with. Great service! The cons: cleanliness in the villa was not great, the mirrors had a loads of stains and so did the bathroom (limescale). The deluxe room has a little off smell like the textiles in the room needs a proper clean. The fruit basket was nice but a little boring maybe. Single top matresses in the double bed was a bit strange but a small detail. All in all great stay and would stay again.

Under alla mina år har jag aldrig blivit nedgraderad. Alla rum är exakt lika, bara vart dem är på området som skiljer. Köp billigaste du. Det är skitigt och du är inte ensam på rummet. Endast strand ingen ting annat.

Tyvärr inte alls vad vi hade förväntat oss. Det stod att det skulle vara barnvänligt men det fanns inte ens en barnpool. Maten var dålig och så även frukosten, väldigt dåligt utbud. Första dagen frågade jag efter en caffe latte till frukost men fick till svar att det inte ingår. Området är jättelugnt och man måste åka taxi 5 min till huvudgata där lite småaffärer finns sen en taxi på 10-15 min till White sand beach om du vill se lite mer.

Härligt resort med många rätt!
otroligt mysigt och trivsamt resort, tempot är lugnt och perfekt beläget vid havet. Egentligen bara positiva upplevelser vad gäller service och övrigt. Hotellet ligger en bit från mainstreet så ett tips är att hyra scooter.

Det var ett varmt välkomnande. Vi hade ett poolaccess rum. Det var bra. Ingen annan bodde där då så det var en lyx i sig. Dem kändes rätt pengagiriga, massa skatter på allt. Det blev rätt dyrt, jämfört med vad som stod på prislappen först. Sen blev det en incident med vår nota. Dem sa att det var happyhour men sen hade dem gjort fel.. Jag vet inte vad som hände. Dem blev väldigt arga när jag frågade snällt ifall vad de var som hände när de gav oss när de gav oss en nota som vi skrev på men den rev dem och kom med en högre nota sen. Vaniljyoghurt på bakad potatisen Var ingen höjdare. Dem kunde ha städat mer. Vi hade tallrikar som stod kvar fast dem hade varit där och hämtat handdukar. Väldigt vackert och skönt men vi lämnade stället med skön känsla. Jag kommer nog välja något annat nästa gång.

Bästa stället!
Panviman ligger fantastiskt fint men det är en bit från main road så var beredd på det. Det går en Shuttle bus men inte alltid i tid. Generellt för Koh Chang är att allt kretsar kring Main road medan hotellen ligger en bit ifrån, vid stränderna så någon form av transportmedel är att föredra. Men Panviman är ett fantastiskt lugnt och fint hotell med god mat och trevlig personal (dock utan bra engelskkunskaper)

Great stay and great resort
Very nice resort with friendly staff and nice large, clean rooms. It is perfect for a relaxing holiday as the resort is approx. 1 km off the main road. But if you want to go outside it is very easy to go with the shuttle or rent a motorboke directly at the hotel. The breakfast was great with a great selection of both European, American and Asian dishes. The food in the restaurang did not have any local Thai food so if this is prefered, take the shuttle to the main road where there are many local restaurants avaliable.

Wir hatten einen herzlichen Empfang und das gesamte Personal war während des Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr schöne Anlage, toller Strand mit genügend Möglichkeiten für Privatsphäre. Das Hotel selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es besteht dringend Instandsetzung/ Pflegebedarf für das Holz im Außenbereich was den Charme der Anlage auszeichnet. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und würden die schönsten Tage des Jahres immer wieder gerne im Santhyia Tree Koh Chang genießen.

Excellent séjour. L'amabilité des personnels est le point fort de cet hôtel. Les chambres sont magnifiquement décorées, spacieuse et très bien équipées. Superbes piscines et l'accès à la mer est parfait. Nombreux transats. Bon petit déjeuner pour cette catégorie d'hôtel. Un peu éloigné des commerces, mais nous le savions, c'est un choix personnel. Dommage que les bords de la route qui mène à l'hôtel soient encombrés de détritus à l'image de la Thaïlande. Un effort serait le bienvenu sur ce point. Remerciements aux équipes, réception, service, ménages, bagagerie... Pour leur amabilité et professionnalisme. Nous reviendrons !
