Nice and modern resort, with high ambitions, not always fulfilled. The private villas are set generously apart in a south-facing nicely landscaped slope overlooking the private beach. An okay but not overly varied breakfast is served in the beach restaurant. The beach is fantastic, and you can easily find a private spot. Staff is very helpful, but five star ambitions are not always met. The wifi is good in lobby and restaurant, but very weak in the villas, the few tv-channles are all in Thai, things were missing in the bathroom (slippers, mosqito spray), but promptly replaced. The setting is far away from everything,a nd without a motorbike you will feel a bit deserted. Overall, the quality is the beaches. Not the place to go for nightlife or fine dining overlooking the sunset. After 8 PM everything is rather calm, and after 10 PM you will only find a few places open at all. But if you're just aware of this, it is a very relaxing experience.
