âWe visited Gordon's Bay for the first time and decided to stay at 18 on Kloof. Great choice!
Our hosts were very hospitable and nice! We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking Gordon's Bay. Breakfast was great. Many restaurants are within walking distance even if the walk back is a bit steep.â

âThis place it perfect for the act of unwinding! The guest house offers lots of space and big rooms, great views over the bay and a very nice garden with pool area. The owners are very open and caring, friendly and generous. We got some great advice for our onwards journey towards the Garden Route area. The location is in the middle of the open landscape, surrounded in the back by beautiful mountain ridges and the ocean in front. It's just a short drive away from Gordon's Bay. Couldn't be happier...

âWe couldnât operate the guest stove, no instructions were give on arrival. Secondly we needed to call the owner to show us how to operate the TV including WiFi connection.â

âfirstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. â
âNo celing fan and not even a rotating fan. Just a simple stationary one low down on floor level.
Small fridge on floor so you have to get
down on knees to retrieve items. No one was there to open for us. We got hold of the gentlemen with the help of their guests...apparently they left to celebrate valentines day. No pool, just a foot bath called pool. 1,5m-2,5m x 2,5m. Cant swim in it! Small tv in room so difficult to see. No welcome info in room with Wi-Fi code, info on restaurants ect.....
âNot a very clean room. Nice and comfortable bed though. Microwave doesn't have a glass plate in it and the part that it sits on is bent and the door was still dirty. Bathroom tiles are black from mould and the corners of floor is still dirty.â
âExceptional reception by manager(s) and all staff. Very good breakfast and cosy living room with ample inventory of drinks at reasonable prices.
