This is not an Expedia VIP Access hotel. All benefits on Expedia are for ALL hotel guest. Also you will not get any upgrade. Even now in low season, while the hotel is really not crowded "there are no upgrade accomations available". Interesting.
The doors of many rooms are broken. The card system to get a new card is broken every day. Every time they promised us to provide us with a card "within 15 min". After calling 3 times and waiting for hours of which more than 1 in the dark (bevause you need the card for electricity, AC etc.) we finally got one again. This happened 2 times, total waste of holiday time.
The breakfast is just "ok". The bread is dry and patisserie like croissants are quite fat. So eating something different than rice or omelet is quite difficult.
The staff is friendly, but not of any help. Smiling and being friendly doesn't solve problems. Internally they communicate so bad, that every time you have to explain issues again. Believing that things will turn out fine, will disappoint you. Keep on reminding them to do the things they promised you. For example: bring new towels and that house keeping forgot, bring the suitcases to the room. If you ask them, they say "yes we will do", but we found our luggage standing in the lobby for hours. No one did do anything. They smile and say sorry, but that doesn't help. Someone could just have taken it in the meantime. We were lucky that nothing bad happened.
