I really don't recommend this hotel
We booked the room to be close to a hospital. Unfortunately the road was dangerous with no sidewalks. The breakfast too expensive. Nowhere nearby to eat breakfast. Inconvenient for us. The hotel personnel's English was poor. She almost didn't understand that we had booked room there and I had a hard time to understand what my room number was. When leaving to the clinic in the morning, the receptionist wanted us to pay in cash even though we already had paid Hotels.com when booking the room. I explained that we already had paid, and we still had our luggage in the room. It made me insecure about the payment administration of Hotels.com and the hotel, and when I checked with my bank it was paid as expected. When checking out, the 2nd receptionist had been told by the 1st that we should pay. When showing the receipt from Hotels.com and acting with confidence the 2nd receptionist still insisted and called the 1st for help. After some persuasion from my side and writing down the Hotels.com booking number I left. It was just a minute short of me calling the police for help. This is from a guest perspective NOT acceptable. I will never visit this hotel again and recommend others to make another choice among the budget hotels. I have visited several hotels on Koh Samui with lower room charge but with much higher standard. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. When I opened the fridge, water ran out on the floor.
