âVery likable little place. More homey than a hotel. Gracious host. Generous breakfast. There are some convenient and tasty food options nearby. Its a bit of a walk to get up or down the hill to the town or the ruins in the heat of day. Street parking was free and fairly attainable. âThis is a great place to stay with excellent service and comfort. What makes it exceptional is how close it is to the Valley of Temples; Walk out of the hotel garden and you are already in the archeological area, with less than a 5 minute walk to the closest temple. Amazing! No need to think of where to park, no standing in line to get tickets and if you are lucky you get a room with a fabulous temple view!â

âWe had a car and Valentina miraculously managed to save us a street space next to the B&B which was a godsend after a long day of driving! She was wonderful and enthusiastic and eagerly showed us everything to do in her city. The B&B is quiet, comfortable and within easy walking distance of the main street.â
âThe property is small but beautiful, very clean and tidy, quiet. Close to restaurants, but no restaurant on the premises. The host gave me a lot of information about what to explore and enjoy. The lady who works there is very kind and helpful and I felt that she became my friend. Close to bus stops and train station. Nice roof terrace. Very basic breakfast.

BUT thereâs no beach in sight â
âWhen we arrived the owner had not received our booking from Hotels.com. He said that this has been a problem in the past. He found us an accommodation at another B&B so we had a place to stay for the night. The room was very nice and the bathroom was huge. We had an early bus out the next morning and they arranged for us to access the breakfast room early.â
âWe had a delightful stay at this beautiful facility while we visited Agrigento. The location is conveniently right in the middle of the main strip with historical buildings, shopping and restaurants in all four directions. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. Communications were exemplary, from clear directions for parking and arriving, to an array of information on local activities. Overall, an excellent stay worth revisiting.â

"SÄ fort vi körde genom den privata grinden in pÄ gÄrden och parkerat bilen precis intill deras privata citrontrÀd, kommer hotellets Àgare och hÀlsar oss vÀlkomna. Vi var nÀstan 2 timmar tidiga men det var inga problem att checka in pÄ rummet tidigare. Rummet vi fick hade en fantastisk utsikt över tempeldalen och som fortsatte ner mot havet och horisonten. Terrassen som tillhörde rummet var stor och en skönhet i sig. Efter att vi hade gjort vÄrt besök pÄ tempeldalen frÄgade vi om det fanns möjlighet att bada i deras bubbelpool som lÄg vÀlplacerat för kvÀllssolen och vi fick ett fantastiskt avslut pÄ den dagen. Det enda vi klagade pÄ efter att vi lÀmnade boendet var att vi inte stannade hÀr fler nÀtter. Hotellets omrÄde Àr precis sÄ jag har tÀnkt mig att ett Sicilianskt boende ska se ut. Service frÄn personalen var över all förvÀntan och hela stÀmningen kÀndes intimt och familjÀrt pÄ ett helt naturligt sÀtt. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende om du ska till Agrigento."
"Disappointing Stay â Not Worth the Hype
We were really disappointed with our stay at this hotel in Arizanto. The photos on thehotel.com were misleading â they showed rooms with beautiful views, but in reality, not all rooms have that. Ours had no view at all, which was already a letdown.
The room itself was extremely hot, even with the air conditioning on. It barely worked, and we even opened all the windows, but it didnât help. Sleeping was really uncomfortable.
Another big issue was the noise. Thereâs construction right next to the hotel, and it starts as early as 7am. Forget about sleeping in â itâs loud and constant.
The worst part: during breakfast, my partner opened a yogurt and it had mold. That was shocking and completely unacceptable. I canât believe they served that to guests.
The only positive I can mention is that the interior design is nice â modern and stylish. But beyond that, I wouldnât recommend this hotel. If youâre thinking about booking, I suggest you look carefully or consider other options."
"Pros: good location, clean and modern room. The host, Ottavio, was incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and was there at arrival to help us find parking, gave us a quick tour and even recommended restaurants.
Cons: sound insulation was unfortunately poor and we were woken up by noise coming from the corridor/kitchen. Breakfast was okay but nothing special (although I think it was acceptable given it's a B&B).
All in all would definitely consider staying here again if passing by Agrigento."
