“My partner and I are experienced travelers, but unfortunately, we found this hotel to be quite disappointing considering its price. Here’s why: • Our room wasn’t cleaned when we returned at 5 pm. Surprisingly, the reception staff claimed that we had declined cleaning for environmental reasons, even though no one asked us during check-in. “What a nice place! Stayed here for 3 nights on our Japan road trip. We had our own wheels so we had no problems getting there, since the location is a bit remote. But what a nice setting!!! “The staff was not shy of attempting to utilize English while helping foreign visitors, which was a great help when my Japanese couldn't help. The staff working in the restaurant, both during breakfast and dinner, were incredibly helpful, kind, and forthcoming when trying to converse. The homely feel of the room could be felt by these staff members, making the stay feel cozy throughout.
