“Casablanca Pool House was an absolute incredible experience they’re so kind and accommodating, the house is so clean upon arrival, having a private pool and outdoor tub is rare to find in Japan especially on a last minute booking ! You have views of the ocean and an island view from the second floor if you rent the whole house, the beach is walking distance along with the train, the shopping and culture is felt at every corner in the surrounding neighborhoods, the food options are incredible, I...

“It's an absolutely beautiful historic Japanese home in a relatively quiet neighborhood. It's a great way to escape the business of the bigger cities for a couple days. Check in was easy and friendly. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away and they have a Family Mart about a 5-10 minute walk away. The beach is also only a 10-15 walk away so this is a very conveniently located hotel. It is a traditional Japanese home though so don't expect comfy king size beds, tvs, couches or much...

“Everyone was extremely kind and the space Is beautiful. Very close to the beach so you have wonderful views nearby.”

“A bit outdated hotel. Very smelly in the basement and also in the Japanese restaurant on groundfloor due to bath activities in the basement. The location not the best, you have to go to the city center for restaurants and activities.”

“Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff”

“Really nice hotel. Well appointed with a real tranquil vibe. Staff were great, and the breakfast buffet selection was just right. Perfect hotel for Kamakura.”

“A nice little guest house, with everything you need for a few nights of stay: A comfy bed, toilet and a shower (and a coin laundry). Allthough all anemities are shared with others, it was never crowded, so you can easily do what you need to do in your own time. The staff was also helpful with anything I needed. Hot tip: Bring your ear plugs, as there are som reccuring noices outside (and a screaming child from within). A good nice stay overall.”

“Clean bathrooms and convenient location.”
