Willa Turnia’s rooms with balconies are situated in an amazing Kościelisko town location to view the awesome Tatra Mountains. It is above the valley and crowds of Zakopane, yet close to shops, restaurants, and skiing. The newly built, additional wooden log cabin has moden utilities and houses 8. The host Ewa is amazing, very gracious and hospitable, as is her son Andrew. The fireplace makes this quiet retreat complete. I had a lovely traditional Christmas Eve here with other guests and the hosts, and am looking forward to New Year’s Eve. Ewa made me feel right at home.
Please know there are two sorts of accommodations here: you can rent the 8-person apartment in the new stand-alone loghouse, or you can rent rooms in the family house. Each room comes with its own bathroom. The common area on the ground floor includes dining furniture, fridges for guests, and a wood burning fireplace with plenty of firewood. Bring your own tolietries and expect to eat out - not difficult, as there are pubs and restaurants nearby, or further, if you like to explore. Nice to return to a burning fireplace after a day out. Peace and quiet await.
