General description

Bon Bida Papagayo is a condo in Hato, located in the Bon Bida Apartments complex, with views of the pool and the distant sea. It measures 223 m². Zhung Kong is at 850 m, Isidel Beach Park at 400 m, Rum Runners at 600 m, and Dive Friends Den Laman at 450 m. The condo is on the fourth floor. Guests have access to the communal outdoor pool, a regular pool. Parking is available on-site and on the street.

The layout

The condo has two bedrooms: the Primary Bedroom with two twin beds and Bedroom 2 also with two twin beds. There are two bathrooms. The open kitchen adjoins the living room and overlooks the front terrace, with direct access to an additional side terrace. The kitchen is equipped with a cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and ice maker.

Nearby you’ll find the Tanki Maraka Heritage Park, a fascinating open-air museum on the grounds of a former U.S. Army base from World War II (active 1942–1947). Stroll past remnants and information panels that explain Bonaire’s strategic role during the war. It’s a quiet site that’s easy to explore; bring water and sun protection. Just so you know

- No BBQ – For safety reasons there’s no barbecue. Tip: public BBQ spots are available, such as at Donkey Beach or Seru Largu.
- Shared garden or outdoor areas – The garden and pool are shared, while your balcony and side terrace offer private nooks.
- Unpaved road – The access road can be a bit bumpy (“Bonaire massage”), but a 4×4 is generally not required.

As a guest of Bon Bida Papagayo Penthouse, you have access to the entire condo: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, the open kitchen, the living room, and the outdoor areas with balcony and side terrace. You can use the shared pool and the rinse and storage facilities for watersports gear. Parking is available on-site and on the street. To welcome you warmly and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts will coordinate your check-in.



The Neighborhood:

Hato is a quiet residential area just north of Kralendijk. This coastal strip blends convenience and serenity—great for families and watersports enthusiasts. You’ll be close to the sea with well-known snorkeling and diving spots and inviting eateries nearby. Thanks to the central location, both downtown Kralendijk and the southern beaches are easy to reach.



Getting Around:

On Bonaire, renting a car is highly recommended. Even though Bon Bida Papagayo Penthouse in Hato is conveniently located, a rental car lets you explore the island at your own pace—from secluded snorkeling spots to local eateries and everything in between.
