The Space:

Laguna Serena is a single-level apartment with direct access to its private garden and pool on the Laguna Marina.



The apartment has two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. There is one bathroom. The living room connects to a fully equipped open kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, freezer, and oven. From the living room you walk straight onto the covered veranda and into the private garden, where the private pool and the water of the Laguna Marina await.

Good to know:

- No A/C in the living room: the living area is typically cooled naturally on Bonaire by outdoor living and opening doors, while the cool bedrooms ensure comfortable sleep.

- No tumble dryer: there is a washing machine, and thanks to sun and wind your laundry usually dries very quickly on the rack outside.

- No indoor dining table: the focus is on outdoor living; on the veranda you can enjoy your meals in the open air.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Laguna Serena you have access to the entire single-level apartment, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, the open kitchen, living room, the covered veranda, the private garden, and the private pool on the water of the Laguna Marina. The washing machine and on-site parking are also available for your use.



To warmly welcome our guests and provide an introduction to both the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals. The Sunwise hosts of the property will coordinate arrival details with you.



The Neighborhood:

Kralendijk center comes with the boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats on the moorings, and colorful facades: here you are right among restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the starting point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and the watertaxis to Klein Bonaire. It is ideal if you want everything within walking distance and like to stroll along the boulevard in the evening.



For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a convenient base thanks to quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience, and the shortest travel times to the amenities in Bonaire's main town: Kralendijk.



Laguna Serena is approximately 2 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 750 meters from Dive Friends Port Bonaire dive center, 1 kilometer from Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach and 1.4 kilometers from Sebastian’s Restaurant.

Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Laguna Serena. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Laguna Serena is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Laguna Serena!
