The hotel has a great location within walking distance of everything in town. The art and antiques are a bonus. Both nights I was there I had to listen to a young couple who did not put their toddler down, one night approaching midnight. I might suggest you implement a "Quiet Time," say 10 PM and enforce it.

This is a unique and historic experience. Everyone should stay here once. This was our third time. Unfortunately it will be our last. Remember - everyone should stay once. The floors creak like a very old historic bldg should be expected. But the wiring scares me. They have one duplex outlet that serves every light, refrigerator, microwave, tv, ceiling fan and lights, plus whatever you bring. There is no one on the property all night but it is in a crimeless city. I wouldn’t advise a woman by herself to stay - you won’t be comfortable. But, you know, Zane Gray stayed here while writing one of his books that featured the horse and rider naturally “engraved” in the bluff across the street. It is worth a stay. It is a fascinating hotel. We have come 3 times.

We are happy that you have enjoyed staying with us! The building was built in 1906 so it does have tons of character. As the on site property manager,we are just not always in the office but there is always someone on the property, and always a phone call away. As a woman who lives alone on the property I always feel safe. It really is a safe little town, glad ya noticed. We appreciate the feedback and do hope you stay with us again!

Kremmling is a smaller town that's full of ranches and is picturesque in every way. We chose hotel Easton as it was close to hot sulfur Springs. It's easy to find, they leave the key in the front foyer for you.... And then you begin the adventure that is the hotel at Easton. This 120-year-old building creaks at every possible step, and is filled with everything from Victorian era to modern conveniences. The rooms all have a theme, everything is clean, it is a real character. I did find the mattress to be exceedingly hard.... But I slept the full night and I did fit in the tiny shower. The grand restaurant next to the hotel was lovely and made a great cheesesteak, and the following morning we had coffee at the shooter and it was wonderful. I would love to live in kremmling someday!

This very old hotel was totally unique and captured a slice of Colorado from simpler times. Loved all the old Decore. If you are looking for standard modern convenience of a chain hotel this may not be for you. If you enjoy antiques, old fixtures and construction, and curiosities around every corner this may be your place. Sorry I didn't get to meet the owner - they use a key drop method.

This is a boarding house, without air conditioning, you share the bathroom (only one of two showers was operational). Had to wait 15 minutes for staff to show up to check in.

So much more than just a nights stay!
This hotel is more than a place to stay, it is an experience in itself. As you step in the door of the plain exterior, you step into another era, another world of travel, where the room keys are in the Key Boxes on the wall and the genuine wood floor actually creaks. The narrow stairway, decorated with character works of the "Old West" leads to a hall of period-designed antique furnished rooms (yes they have electricity and televisions) that convince you that this is another time and place. Most rooms have all the typical plumbing, but for those that don't, there are community bathrooms, complete with tub and shower. You can easily imagine the activity of a day gone by when traveling salesmen stopped over here after a long train ride to ply their wares. The whole experience is charming. The staff provide personal service with a genuine character of Western hospitality. If you truly want experience to be the definition of your travel, this is a property worth going out of your way to visit.

Very quaint; built in 1905. PET FRIENDLY! No AC, fairly miserable in July. Clean enough but very bare bones. Won’t return, can’t recommend.

We didn’t see any staff at our stay. We had problems with the sink no body to tell. We stayed in room 128 there was a courtyard below us. They were noisy and woke us up

Be careful what room you pick and apparently your not guaranteed that room. We picked the room with a restroom, the room we got was downstairs(in what reminded me of a basement) and the bathroom was down the hall. It is a very old building, no AC, and very noisy when people walk around above. We booked for two nights and left after one night because we could not get any sleep.

No desk or dresser in my room, no luggage rack, few modern electrical outlets, basement room with ceiling radiator for unregulated heat, no bath towels. 120-year old wood floors mean that you hear every step by other guests and their animals. One of the owner's dogs whines by my casement window. No daily housekeeping as described. Free WIFI is super slow. The shared outdoor area is littered with dog turds. I paid for three nights, but left after two nights because it was so bad.

I requested two beds while reserving. I followed up with a phone call a few days later to request a cot. I was told there was no cot, but they would leave an air bed. When I arrived on property there was one small bed and no air bed. There was no one on site to help, nor were they answering calls or messages. There was supposed to be someone on site until 9 PM. I was charged for the air bed, and had a hard time getting a response to my request for refund. I was never given a refund. My party had to seperate for the evening; luckily we had friends staying an hour away. To be fair the hotel was clean, quiet, and quirky. The two in my party who stayed said the coffee was good.
