Our vacation home, “Huus up Hook,” is located in the small fishing village of Grimersum in Krummhörn. It accommodates 4 to 6 people across two floors, with two separate bedrooms—each featuring a double bed (1 on the first floor, 1 on the first floor)—and a sleeper sofa (first floor).
A cozy kitchen with an adjoining living area offers plenty of space to relax and feel at home, even when the weather’s lousy.
The terrace is a great place to linger when the sun is shining. A small, fenced-in garden makes the house attractive for dog owners as well. One parking space is available. The “Huus up Hook” is located right next to the “Lüttje Huuske” (property number: 5321949),, so both houses offer ideal conditions for a vacation with the whole family.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ve come to the right place; and if you do feel like a little “action,” you can find it in the neighboring tourist town of Greetsiel (8 km away). Norddeich and Emden are also just a short drive away. From there, ferries depart for the East Frisian islands of Borkum, Juist, and Norderney, which are perfect for a day trip. If you enjoy long walks with your dog or extended bike rides, you’ll find plenty to enjoy here in Krummhörn.?
