For the price I think its decent. We booked 2 hours before we reached. The reception was aware of our booking. He was well spoken in English. There were 4 bottles of mineral water bottles for the 4 of us, coffee satchets, toothbrush etc. The main switch of heater wasn't switched on till we asked. Rain shower was good. Cozy room, clean and well kept. Our 2 kids were contented for that 1 night stay. I will not mind going back.

Standard and clean (avoid the lady at counter)

The room was standard and clean. The boss was really efficient, flexible and friendly whereas the other lady at the counter was not flexible at all. We just wanted to extend for 4 hours the check out because my mother was sick. She repeated 5times that she undertood but we had to book another room. She was speaking as if we were idiots.

Disappointing staff

We arrived around before 7AM at the hotel but we checked-in around 8am. They let us wait for almost an hour just to check-in because they couldn't find our reservation. We were tired from our trip and wanted to get some sleep and yet they let us wait that long. If they were considerate of us, they could've just let us check in and let us pay for the half day rate since we checked-in early. They are not hospitable at all and I felt that they didn't care for the guest. However, the hotel is quite nice for a budget hotel. I hope they would manage their arrivals better whether they were booked earlier or not. They kept reasoning that we booked too early (we booked around november 2017 and checked-in at january 2018) but in my opinion, it was not a good reason for our reservation to be lost.

Eats and Nightlife around, wifi sucks

If you go across the street and walk around, there are some outdoor restaurants where you can get some cheap eats. For nightlife, there's the Emico KTV and the East Club. Behind the hotel, there is a large mall. I booked the Deluxe Queen Room on hotels.com listed as 17 m2. They offered me two options, the Room 211, which was only 14 m2, and had no separation between bathroom and bed, and Room 213, which was oddly shaped, but did have a separation. I chose Room 213 because it was larger, at 18 m2, and had a separation between bed and bathroom. They had proper white duvets for the bed, unlike the Leo Express Hotel across the street. Downstairs, you have a 24/7 convenience store. In Room 213, it's too far away from the wifi router, so I had to use the internet from my phone. There were coffee making facilities in the room and a safe deposit box. It appears online, they have 3 different room types: Standard Room, Double Room, and Deluxe Queen Room, but in person at the hotel, there are only 2 different room types. It appears the "Double Room" and "Deluxe Queen Room" online are actually the same room, so there's no need to pay more for the Deluxe Queen Room.
