“Staff were friendly, the WiFi was good, the power shower was nice (when there was hot water) and, best of all, the only bar in town is just across the street. But the room needed a good clean, there was no bottled water or toilet paper and Silent Valley is far from silent. Bring earplugs.”

The staff is helpful and reliable and can arrange trekkingtours and such.
There is no restaurant in the hotel but you can order breakfast (150 INR/person) and dinner (a good deal to chose from) for not much money. The breakfast was quite boring but cheap. Had dinner once and that was very good.
