Dog Friendly, private beach home by the pier

Welcome to Happy Honu! We think you'll love our beach vibe. This is a beach house that allows you plenty of privacy and space for the perfect getaway! Picture yourself relaxing on our cool deck which is nestled into a beautiful live oak tree, or take a nap on our screened in porch. The living room has plenty of seating for everyone. The entire living space is open concept which allows for fun gatherings, The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled with granite counters, a glass back splash and high-end cabinetry with soft close features. Storage for all your food is no problem, and the kitchen is fully stocked! Cozy up to the kitchen island on one of our four retro barstools or dine at the table which seats four. Hardwood flooring throughout makes for easy clean up!

This home has three bedrooms on the main floor with two full baths. The spacious primary bedroom has a brand new (2024) king mattress and a 50-inch flat screen smart TV. A California closet system provides ample space for all your clothes. There is an attached bathroom with a full tub/shower combo.

The second bedroom has a brand-new queen mattress and a 43-inch smart TV.

The third bedroom has a brand-new (2024) queen mattress with a 43-inch smart TV as well. The large hall bathroom has a shower/tub combo and houses a brand new for 2024, washer and dryer for your convenience.

Downstairs is a spacious room with two sets of bunk beds, three twins & one full size. A beautiful remodeled bathroom decorated in a nautical theme with granite top vanity and full tub/shower is here for you as well. Watch your favorite movies on a new flat screen, smart TV

The covered carport has additional entertaining space with a full size table, swing and additional seating. In the garage you will find four beach bikes & a beach wagon. There is room in the driveway to park four vehicles.

The backyard is completely fenced in, so you don't have to worry about your four legged family members! There is a park style charcoal grill. You are very close to the Kure Beach pier and several restaurants.

We feel certain that this is the beach house you will return to again and again with your family & friends!

If you plan on bringing a dog, please let us know. We charge a $225. Non-refundable dog fee.

Note: The Town of Kure Beach only allows leashed dogs on the beach from October 1 - March 31. Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach from 9AM to 5PM from April 1 - September 30.
