Denna unikt utformade lägenhet med två sovrum, två badrum, slutet enhet ger dig en vacker utsikt och upplevelse av Atlanten. Det finns gott om plats för dig och din familj på sex. Det finns en drottning i befälhavaren, två tvillingar i gästrummet och en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Denna enhet ligger på södra spetsen av ön där du hittar de unika coquina stenarna som bubblar upp med färskt vatten. Det finns gott om plats för att njuta av solen eller simma i det kalla vattnet.

Ocean Dunes är en idealisk semester året runt för familjer. Ocean Dunes Mermaids Surprise

This was our first time staying on this end of the island and at this location. It was wonderful! The condo was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. What was advertised is what you get. I kept all the information so that I could try to rent this property again in the future.

Great place!

I love Kure Beach I went as a kid and it still holds its spirit of chill beach town. The reviews are correct the TVs don’t work and the beds are super comfortable. The condo has everything you need and more. They are generous with towels, pillows, and blankets. No bugs but it was in the 40s at night. The kitchen looks newer than the photos. NOTHING like the view! And enjoyed the large balcony.

Thanksgiving getaway!

First, I want to say this is an incredible unit. The view is absolutely breathtaking. I have never stayed so close to the ocean and the beach. This makes this unit awesome. A short ride to restaurants and entertainment. The grocery store is just up the road. Everything you could possibly need is a short drive. The property mngt left a turkey roasting pan since it was Thanksgiving. I thought that was a very nice touch. Also, there was toilet paper, paper towels and dish washer pellets left. That was also nice. Past tenants have left different food stuffs so there is a ‘pantry’. There was games to play also. . For review to be useful, I will tell you about some of the negatives. When we entered the unit, it was quite stale and smelly. It was not welcoming. Of course after a little while of opening the doors and windows to air out the place it was better. But it is November. The place was dusty. Like it had been cleaned for the last tenant, and then left empty for a period. ALL the furniture was uncomfortable… except for the deck furniture. There are NO TVs in the bedrooms. The room with the twin beds has no useful closet. Just a bench. No hooks, no where to hang your cloths, no shelves…. Nothing. The Kitchen. Old and dirty. (Bugs too) The few pots, all burned out and scratched. Very limited, cheap utensils. With such a beautiful unit, it could be so much better. I expect premium conditions with a premium price. I may try Bryant Realty again but not this unit.

This was a cute little apartment with amazing views of the ocean. It was very bright and airy. The furniture could use an upgrade and the beds were not very comfortable but the views of the ocean made up for all of it.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed staying at Mermaids Sunrise. We stopped by Bryant Real Estate to grab our keys, and the staff was very welcoming, so everything started off on the right foot. The unit was clean and very conveniently located just steps to the beach. An absolutely breathtaking view! Appliances are in great condition! For those not used to first row properties, there will be bugs, it is inevitable! This unit is properly treated and the bugs were not an issue at all. Very clean unit.

Great stay!

This was such an amazing stay. It is directly on the beach, so it's perfect. The unit was very clean and welcoming. You'll want to bring your own beach towels and toiletries, make sure you read the agreement before you go, it's all in there. The unit is close to food, the boardwalk and other cool places. It does sit back just a bit further than the building to the left when you are sitting on the porch, so you can see people sometimes if they are sitting on their porch. The only suggestions I would make is a table/chairs on the porch that sit up high over the railing, so it is easier to see the water. Also, the door from the porch sticks, so we entered though the bedroom's door to the porch since it was easier to pull. Perhaps a curtain over the door in the living room would be nice as well. I tried to message Bryant reality over VRBO several times but never got any responses, so I am not sure if they really use that or if you need to contact them through their site/email. Overall, I would definitely be back, and we are very happy we chose this unit! Karly

great loc nice unit ,the the furnishings need updated especially the the bed in the master BR and the deck furnishings ,higher chairs ,table etc. the view is the best but not through bars.

Older Condo but excellent view of beach

The property was well equipped. The beds were not extremely comfortable but they were adequate. The kitchen was very nice but the DVD player was broken and the TV was not a smart TV so we were stuck with cable.

Primo Loocation

Overall I would definitely recommend staying at Mermaid's Sunrise. The view was spectacular and as I'm writing this, I miss being there now. We practically lived on the deck so my main criticism would be the sliding door to it. It was a chore to open and close and it has been stated earlier in other reviews what a pain it was. The door really needs to be fixed. Storage space in the second bedroom was very sparse. We had to share the master closet to hang clothing.

Great view!

The balcony was amazing. Great scenery! Parking was great, underneath the condo. The living area did not have any window treatments on the sliding door, which affected us until the sun moved. The linens provided for the bed were a bit rough and thin; I would suggest bringing your own linens/sheets. Unfortunately we had a family of 5 above us (3 kids) and you could here every step and yell they made. But that did not ruin our stay.

Awesome to be on the beach

As far as having the convenience of being right on the beach, waking up to a beautiful sunrise everyday, it was awesome. On the surface, the condo was clean, until you look into the corners of the rooms and shower curtains. I placed a call to hospitality and they addressed my concerns immediately. The master bed was not comfortable. The sliding glass doors from livingroom to deck was extremely difficult to open. This too was addressed with hospitality. They knew of it, but wasn't fixed prior to our visit. Then they couldn't have anyone come until our 5th day there and still wasn't easy to open & close. We loved the location and the ease of beach access. Also to mention, that there are beach chairs and boogie boards to use which are not mentioned in the amenities. Overall a good stay but might not chose this condo again for reasons that I mentioned in this review.

Would not rent there again

The porch was nice. The TV was old and the DVD player didn't work. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans fell apart. No can opener. The window blinds did not block the light. in the smaller bedroom thee is an outside light that stays on all night so you feel like your trying to sleep in the day. Bryant Realty was annoying. I will not rent from them again. The location was nice.

Fantastic condo

Although we had a minor issue due to a last minute stay extension, which was easily and quickly fixed, this condo was clean, comfortable, and was at a phenomenal location. We will likely be staying here again!

Great location and view!

Great location with a great view! Large balcony and we loved the palm tree! Very comfy beds! Newer flooring and updated hall bath and laundry are nice. Kitchen and master bath could use a face lift. Fan in master bath makes an awful noise. Needs another chair in the living area to accommodate four adults comfortably. All in all a nice place to stay, just could use some updating in kitchen and master bath.

Beachfront condo

This condo has a great location! We stayed here for Christmas and though the weather wasn’t great, the views were. The condo could use some deeper cleaning, some new furnishings, and some better kitchen gear. Everything was functional, just quite worn.

Beautiful Place

Clean, great view, but picky rental property management. We had to go to their office to pick up parking permits despite keyless entry.. There were MANY warnings (car being towed,etc.) about arriving minutes early, or staying late (most rentals are not so draconian about this!) We had to pay for linens we did not want or use. The management was friendly BUT all of these (very little )irritations are their procedure and not like most friendly VRBO interactions. SO- yes we will probably go back but I think minor changes would make it a 5 star- I would rate it a 4. because of this piciness. (We were in and out to the minute!! The management was -just not personal or at all relaxed- and this was November!!)

Be aware if handicapped

Nice condo. Floors needed mopped as taking our shoes off produced very dirty feet on the floors. We had a family member with a juvenile size walker with us and the bathroom doors are so small across that they had to enter shuffling sideways. Not regulation size doors at all. The bathrooms are definitely not accessible for handicaps. Also no no slip protection in the bathtubs. We found a bath mat and put it down in the master bath. Also, the second bedroom with twin beds has no closet! It was removed and a bench stuck in its place. The bench is cute but has no practicality. Very frustrating for a weeks stay putting suitcases and belongings on a bench. No place to hang clothes. The master bedroom has a closet but has multiple plastic coated wire shelving with only a very small space on the left that longer items could be hung. Short items could hang from the wire shelving. Porch is very nice-long and great view. Needs a table though for eating outside with a view like that. Condos to our right and left all had tables with the chairs and people sat outside to eat.
