Welcome to Saltwater Social, a spacious 5-bedroom Kure Beach retreat designed for easy coastal living, relaxed gatherings, and unforgettable beach days. Perfectly positioned just across from the ocean, this large beach house gives you the best of both worlds: quick beach access and a private resort-style backyard with a pool, hot tub, lounge areas, and plenty of space to spread out.

Start your mornings with coffee on the deck while the ocean breeze rolls in, then head across the street for a day in the sand. When you’re ready to explore, take the included golf cart out for an easy cruise around Kure Beach, visit nearby restaurants, or enjoy the laid-back charm of this quieter stretch of the island.

Back at the house, the outdoor spaces are a major highlight. The private pool is perfect for sunny afternoons, while the hot tub invites you to unwind after a full beach day. With multiple decks, outdoor seating, lounge chairs, and a fenced backyard feel, this home makes it easy to keep everyone entertained without ever leaving the property.

Inside, the main living area is bright, open, and spacious, with high ceilings, comfortable seating, a fireplace, and doors that open to ocean-view decks. The open kitchen, dining space, and large gathering areas make group meals simple, whether you’re cooking dinner, serving beach snacks, or enjoying a slow morning before heading out.

The home offers 5 bedrooms with a flexible layout for families and groups: one king bedroom, three queen bedrooms, and one queen bunk room. The queen bunk room is especially great for kids, teens, or extra guests, while the multiple queen rooms make it easy for couples or families to settle in comfortably.

Guests will have access to the entire house during their stay. We do have a locked owner's closet for our storage, but otherwise everything in the house is available to use.

This unit is self check in. Hosts will be available through messaging.

Good to Know Before Your Stay:

Verification & Rental Agreement
To help ensure a safe and secure experience for everyone, we use SafeGuest for identity verification and rental agreement review. After your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a link with simple instructions to complete this process prior to arrival. A security deposit will be required through SafeGuest.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. These times allow our cleaning team the opportunity to thoroughly prepare the home for each guest.
During our busy summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we are generally unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs from Friday through Sunday due to tight turnover schedules. During the week, we are happy to check availability within 24 hours of arrival or departure. When accommodations are possible, a fee of $25 per hour applies for early arrivals or late departures.

A Note About Coastal Wildlife
One of the joys of the coast is being surrounded by nature. Our area is home to a variety of local insects, including spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs, particularly during warmer months. The home receives regularly scheduled professional pest control treatments, but occasional sightings can still occur despite our best efforts. If you encounter any concerns during your stay, please let us know and we'll gladly arrange additional treatment if needed. Seeing native insects will not be grounds for a cancellation or refund.

Television & Streaming
While this property does not offer cable service, smart TVs or Rokus are available for you to access your favorite streaming platforms using your personal accounts. Please remember to log out before departure, or remotely through your streaming service if needed.

Cleanliness
Our housekeeping team takes great pride in preparing the home for every guest, however everyone is human. If anything doesn't meet your expectations upon arrival, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it promptly and help ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Respect for Our Neighborhood
This home is located in a residential community, and we kindly ask guests to be mindful of our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am each day. Parties and events are not permitted in accordance with platform policies. Excessive noise or unauthorized gatherings may result in the reservation being terminated without refund.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment from unexpected events. Reservations and cancellations are handled according to the cancellation policy selected at booking, and we are unable to modify reservation dates within 30 days of arrival.

Elevator Information
This property includes an elevator for guest convenience. In the rare event of a power outage or mechanical service interruption, stair access may be required. Temporary elevator outages are outside of our control and do not qualify for refunds.

Pool Information
The pool is typically open from early May through late September. Management reserves the right to adjust these dates based on weather, safety inspections, or maintenance needs. As with all outdoor pools, occasional leaves or debris may accumulate between routine cleanings, particularly after coastal storms.

Hot Tub Information
The hot tub is available year-round unless temporarily closed for maintenance, repairs, safety concerns, or other operational needs. Management reserves the right to close the hot tub without notice if necessary to ensure guest safety or proper maintenance.
