"Lovely hotel in a great location. Beautiful room. Fantastic food at the dinner buffe. However, there are much room for improvement. The outdoor areas are way overlooked and need a big renovation to put this hotel back to it's glory days. The food in the other restaurants were not very good. I also think this hotel needs a Concept planner, to make sure they cater for it's customers. To play loud music dunk,dunk at the pool bar does not sit well with a customer base 60+ - and actually really disturbing when you just want to relax and listen to the waves. Don't ask the Travel Agent in the reception to order a taxi for you, as you only get a driver who charge for a full day tour even though we said no! Had to pay full price anyway for a short trip...The hotel does not stock your mini bar if you don't put in a full order of what you want before hand?? Reason: oh, we are not doing this since after covid based on hygiene?? OMG, this happened 6 years ago and is history in the rest of the world. Step up if you want to be a 5 star hotel.
Also really annoyed that our room faced the large outdoor area next to the hotel where they had a huge concert screen showing the cricket and playing really loud music until 23.00 in the night. Please stay away from rooms at this end."
