Discover the tranquility of Norway from this cozy and comfortable cabin in Vrådal, surrounded by forests, mountains, and views of the ski slope. This warm and inviting home is perfect for families or groups of friends of up to 6 adults and 2 children, combining Scandinavian coziness with all modern amenities for a relaxing stay in any season. With five bedrooms, a wood-fired hot tub, a cozy fireplace, and a partially covered terrace, this is the ideal place to enjoy long evenings together, crisp winter days, or active summers in nature.



The space

This charming home is designed for cozy getaways with family or friends and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay surrounded by Norwegian nature.

3-person Canadian canoe including 3 life jackets (2 adult sizes and 1 child size)

 A travel cot and high chair are available in the accommodation 

Wood-fired outdoor hot tub with views of nature (no bubble function!)

The house has five comfortable bedrooms:

Downstairs: bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed



Downstairs: family room with a loft bed (90x200 cm on top and 150x200 cm on the bottom)



Upstairs: two bedrooms with 160x200 cm beds



Upstairs: one bedroom with a 180x210 cm bed

There are two bathrooms, both located on the ground floor:

One bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet

One bathroom with a shower and toilet



There is also a separate toilet in the hallway.

Kitchen & amenities

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for long dinners and cozy evenings together. You’ll find a Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster, air fryer, and a (steam) oven, among other things. There is also a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer.

During the colder months, it’s wonderful to warm up by the fireplace after an active day or relax in the wood-fired hot tub (no bubble function!) under the starry sky.

The surroundings

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Vrådal with immediate neighbors, yet offers stunning views of the natural surroundings. In winter, the ski slope is easily accessible, and a 50-minute drive takes you to snowmobile trails or even a husky sledding tour. In summer, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, swimming, canoeing, or simply enjoying the tranquility around the lake.

A supermarket and a few restaurants are just a short drive away, so everything is within easy reach for a carefree stay. There are several airports near Vrådal, where the cabin is located. After arriving at the airport, you can easily rent a car for the drive to the house (Tip: rent an electric car, it’s often cheaper, and you can charge it at the house!). Depending on your flight, you can choose from the following options:

Via Oslo Airport (OSL)

About a 3-hour drive to the cabin.



Via Sandefjord Airport (TRF)



About a 2.5-hour drive to the cabin.



Via Kristiansand Airport (KRS)



About a 2.5-hour drive to the cabin.

Other things to keep in mind:

Student groups are not permitted.

A private chef is available during your stay; send a message for more information.



In winter, snow chains are required; the access road can be slippery.



Dogs are not allowed on the beds or the couch.
