Bra hotell, dåligt wifi
Fint hotell med trevlig personal och som ligger i mitten av gamla stan i Kiev. Det enda negativa är helt ofungerande wi-fi. Det gick knappt att använda alls. Förutom det, var hotellet jättebra!

Prisvärt hotell i Podol
Hotellet är tyst så man sover bra. Det ligget bra till och nära till restauranger och barer.

OK hotell i Podol
Jag skulle åka till Kiev för möten och behövde ett prisvärt hotell i rätt dela av staden. Hotellets läge är bara OK, men bara några minuters promenad till massor att restauranger och tunnelbanan. Skälva hotellet är OK, rummet var rent och rymligt. Frukosten vad godkänd men inte mer.

Smoke on the water hotellet!
Vi spenderade ett otroligt trevligt dygn i Montreux på vägen ner till vår semester i Spanien. Hotellet är fantastiskt på alla sätt och vis.Och Deeep Purple skrev ju Smoke on the water här, vilket är rätt coolt.

Podol Plaza Hotel i Kiev.
Ett utmärkt prisvärt hotell, vilket jag ett flertal gånger har nyttjat. Omgivningarna måhända en aning slitna, men bra restauranger i närheten. Jag rekommenderar gärna Podol Plaza Hotel.

Very nice, close to the metro station. The bed was reallly comfortable, but I cannot stay the same about the couch... All around very pleased however!

Alt bra, efter omständigheterna i Kiev, saknades det varmt vatten och det var kalt i rummet. Endast som jag saknar nu, eftersom jag åkte via jobbet, är ett kvitto för min reseräkning.

Trevligt hotell med det man behöver.
Stora och bra rum med gratis wifi ett stort pluss. Frukosten är inget man ska betala extra för utan ät någonstans i närheten, men kaffe,äggröra,yoghurt slank ner.

Overall it´s a good hotel. Good breakfast, good service, well maintained facility. Only one English spoken TV channel. Location is good with a lot of restaurants close and metro station just outside hotel. But the walls in rooms are not soundproof... Unfortunately you hear normal conversation right through. And if there is other activities, it´s impossible to sleep without earplugs....

Sämsta frukosten på länge
Hotellet håller hög klass vad gäller rummen och hotellet ligger bra till i rätt del av Podol. Tyvärr är frukosten under all kritik och matchar inte alls priset på hotellet och den övriga standarden.

The room was great, but the trouble started outside of the hotel. The reception made several mistakes while we were there: did not provide us with the key that worked, misled us on a class of the room, mentioned the room doesn't have breakfast although we did have one via Expedia reservation. Advice: double-check everything that say.

Nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were responsive when asked things but didn't put themselves forward. Breakfast buffet had limited range but good quality. Good location near restaurants and metro station. Quiet, at least if you don't have a room overlooking the main road. I would stay here again

A friendly useful base for the Podil area
The hotel is well located for the Podil area, only a few mins from the central square. I used it as a base for walking around not just Podil but also the entire nearby older part of town (taking the funicular up to St Michael's and the doing a full walking tour). By the ay, there is a beautiful small church around the corner. I stayed on two separate single nights, bookending a trip to Ukraine. When I arrived at ca 630am fom an overnight flight, of course I could not check in yet but I was able to pay for a breakfast and generally to relax in the seating area outside the restaurant. Breakfast is due to start at 7 and I used this three times - on each occasion I found the breakfast good with enough hot and cold choices - I particularly enjoyed the quiche and the bread. My only gripe would be that while most things were already out at 7am, the coffee tureen generally took a few more minutes to be ready - hot water for tea (perhaps the more popular drink!) was always there before I arrived. The service was friendly and considerate: when I decided to leave a pair of shoes behind before checking out, and later returned to pick up deposited luggage, the front desk staff askd if I had forgotten my shoes - the cleaning team had raised the issue and even put them in a plastic bag for me. I stayed in different rooms on my two nights and would note that the room overlooking the main road (I was only 1 floor up) did get the clanking noise of the tramline.

Hotel staff denied existence of reservation...claiming that the hotel did not have relationship with Expedia. Asked us for the hotel confirmation number. The reception requested us to call Expedia to check our booking. We waited 30 minutes before reception reluctantly agreed to provide us with a room. Caused us loads of anxiety!

The bed is super tiny. & more importantly i woke up in the middle of night there were roaches creeping around & the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Well good luck. But that isn't considered a 4Star hotel. In my experience.

Service breakfast very poor! Room service good!
Breakfast should start at 7 but at 7.20 buffet was still not ready and missed many items: jam, yougurth . I was before and the service restaurant was much better. Room clean and room service good!

Lovely European Style Hotel
I live in kiev, but had late dinner meeting in Kiev near Podol Plaza, so decided to book a room to avoid snow traffic. Hotel was excellent, from check in till check out. A very good value, solid 4.5 star hotel.

Hôtel bien situé proche de la montée Saint-André.
L'entrée sur la rue est discrète. Le hall assez petit. Mais ensuite, après la traversée d'un joli patio, nous accédons à l'hôtel proprement dit. Nous découvrons une grande chambre confortable au décor classique. Nous réduisons le chauffage. La salle de bain est spacieuse, très moderne et bien équipée. Nous avons bien dormi dans un lit très confortable au matelas très épais, ferme et doux à la fois ! Le buffet du petit déjeuner est varié et permet de satisfaire tous les appétits. Le personnel nous a toujours bien accompagné dans nos différentes demandes (accueil, adresse de commerces, taxi, etc) . Un à retenir pour un futur séjour.
