Hi Ian. Thank you for taking time to leave a review. I would like to come back on a couple of points you have made, as I feel they are misleading: * It is true there are three very small hamlets on the lane, one of which is tiny. There is a fish farm a few miles away which is serviced by boat. The small group of workers on the farm do increase the traffic by a few cars around 8.30 in the morning and 5.00 in the evening - our rush half hour. The rest of the time it is a very quiet lane with just the odd car making its way along it - hardly frequent and rarely fast, although there is always the odd person who drives badly wherever you go. We always walk our dog off the lead as it is easy to hear a car coming and one seldom sees two at one time. *The deforestation may have scared some of the wildlife away but the pine martens and badgers still visit Saraig regularly and, as you mention the myriad birds. I am pleased that you liked the house and the views, and saw so much wildlife in the loch. You would be very welcome to stay again. Kind regards Paula

I'm pleased you had a good holiday at Saraig but so sorry you felt it wasn't up to scratch. You have raised some valid points which we will attend to immediately. You are absolutely right about the towels which are now on order. I've just visited the house to investigate and was saddened to see that there was a little mould in the silicone edges around the bath and shower base. This is definitely not good enough and will be rectified. I have to say I didn't detect any 'turnip' smell. The fridge is a standard one which I have never had any complaints about. I am surprised about this especially as there were only three of you. I agree that outside the back door needs attention and is on our 'to do' list this winter. The bits and bobs on the shelves in the utility room are there because they might prove useful, for example small gas cannisters and a camping stove, spare batteries for torches etc. for use in the event of a power cut. All in all I am very sorry you weren't completely satisfied with Saraig but am happy that you still managed to enjoy your holiday. Kind regards, Paula
