We have traveled to more than 30 countries and more than 50 cities, so we know that in addition to the fatigue of the journey, we need a warm, comfortable, convenient and tidy place to rest and adjust our mood, so the house also means a house of fate. When designing and decorating the house, we adhere to the orientation of providing comfortable and modern facilities and spaces, while respecting the original layout and style of Japanese machiyas. Guests can enjoy a separate living room, kitchen, garden or terrace for the most pleasant relaxation after a long journey.
Our check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. If you need early check-in, late check-out, luggage storage, etc., please contact us in advance and we will do our best to arrange it.
We have an experience hall in the Gion area where you can experience a series of popular Japanese cultural experiences such as tea ceremony, ikebana ceremony, kimono dressing, Japanese sweets making, bento making, and sake tasting, all in a language you are familiar with. Guests of the Lodge enjoy special preferential treatment.

Located near Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kyoto's most popular attraction, the restaurant is only a 3-minute walk away. In the early morning, you can slowly visit a Kiyomizu Temple, landlord shrine, Kodaiji Temple, Ninenzaka, and Sannenzaka, and before the arrival of the brigade, you can take a leisurely walk to Kodaiji Temple, Ninningzaka, Yasaka Shrine, Gion, and Shijo; You can also walk to the bus stop at the foot of the mountain to visit other farther scenic spots.

of Service1. During your stay in a machiya, please be sure to take care of the personal and property safety of you and your accompanying passengers, and if any injury or loss occurs, you will be responsible and responsible for it.
2. In order to ensure your comfort and safety during your stay, please comply with the following terms and conditions:
(1) It is prohibited to use firearms that may cause fire in the hidden water house.
(2) Smoking is prohibited in the area of the hidden water of the building.
(3) Since the water is hidden in the residential area of ordinary residents, any noise and other behavior that may cause inconvenience to the surrounding neighbors is prohibited.
(4) You can cook in the hidden water, but you cannot use open flames, such as candles.
(5) It is forbidden to engage in other negative behaviors such as gambling in the hidden water of the building; Visitors are not allowed to enter the room, and they are not allowed to move, replace or take them out of the house, or use them for other purposes other than those specified in the house.
(6) It is forbidden to install other items on the house itself and its equipment, or to move its equipment to other locations.
(7) Please use the equipment in the house according to the prompt label, if there is any uncertainty, please contact the staff of the house as soon as possible to understand how to use it, do not touch the place without the prompt label, if there is any damage to the interior of the room and facilities, you need to compensate yourself.
(8) Please keep the key properly after moving into the house, and if you lose the key, you will be compensated.
(9) If the bed and bed sheets are stained with stains or oil stains that are difficult to treat, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
(10) Items and facilities in the room can only be used free of charge during the stay and cannot be taken away at will.
(11) When bathing, please adjust the water temperature according to the instructions for use in the house to avoid burns.
(12) Please take good care of the elderly and children traveling with you, do not climb the window sill on the second and third floors of the house, and do not play in the room.
(13) Please go up and down the stairs carefully, hold the stair handrails tightly, and pay attention to the safety of your feet to prevent slipping and falling.
(14) Guests with children must take care of their children and do not leave minors alone in the room.
