“This hotel is amazing! The room was very nice, and they make a great experience for travellers in the reception area. It’s walkable distance to a lot of sightseeing areas, and otherwise had a metro station and bus stops next door that can take you anywhere. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again! ”

“This property is very close to Kodai-ji, which was very convenient. Also, the host washed, dried, and folded our laundry (a family of 5) while we were out seeing the sites. This was incredibly helpful. Another highlight of our stay was the wonderful welcome tea and tasty breakfast provided during our stay. Although it was a bit more expensive than other options, these benefits were well worth the additional cost.”

Hotell Alza ligger i ett traditionellt gammalt område som heter Gion i Kyoto, det absolut charmigaste att bo och vara i. Det ligger väldigt nära tunnelbanan och all shopping och en väldigt fin park. Hotellet är väldigt fint och charmigt och har ett perfekt läge. Rent! Personalen är supertrevliga allihop.

“If you are looking for a traditional ryokan experience, then this is the ryokan for you. The ryokan provided comfortable yukata for guests to wear including to breakfast and the kaiseki, hosted in a beautiful restaurant with views of the garden. The traditional Japanese breakfast (included in price of stay) was different and delicious each morning, and the kaiseki was a unique experience, although expensive. The tatami beds were comfortable and the barrel style tub in the room was delightful....

“This is a fabulous hotel to stay at. My family and I loved the experience.
Staff met us before the door and used a cart to bring our luggage inside. We were met immediately and offered comfortable seats and asked for our passports.
