âLa struttura Ăš assolutamente consigliata. Arredata con ottimo gusto ed estremamente pulita. La posizione Ăš ottima se non si vuole pernottare a Matera e si desidera maggiore tranquillitĂ . I proprietari sono perfetti padroni di casa e Domenico Ăš sempre disponibile a consigliare i suoi ospiti su come organizzarsi per godere al meglio la vacanza.â
âReally enjoyed our stay. Beautiful rooms, a true 5-star cave experience.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Sassi di Matera, with walking distance to everything you need. You will find tourists walking around the outdoor parts of the hotel just to experience it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds comfortable and good AC. We also experienced the SPA, which is a beautiful pool in one of the caves.

Clean and spacious room, spotless bathroom,
Breakfast was 1st class however a hot option ie omelette would only improve it.
Only problem advertisement on expedia stated pool after a 15 min walk around the extensive gardens etc no pool was to be found !â
âMartino made this hotel experience wonderful, and his knowledge and passion for the history of Matera are impressive. The hotel is located at the top of a hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with views of the gorgeous canyon. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at L'antica Conceria.â

The property we stayed had an outside terrace overlooking the old town which was fantastic.
Really could not speak more highly of our stay.
The breakfast was a nearby cafe on a piazza which was. A perfect way to finish the stay. â
âLocation was so unique overlooking the Sassi . Nighttime was magical. We arrived early and Davide welcomed us; nothing was too much trouble! He arranged for us to have a coffee and custard brioche as we had missed breakfast that morning due to an early start. We could not have arrived on a better day as it was a special Festa and we were invited to see the fireworks from the balcony at 1am - front row seats!! We couldnât ask for more from the entire staff and highly recommend this boutique...

The staff were super helpful reaching out prior to check in to coordinate arrival but also shared many great links to current events, restaurants, things to do etc. The room and shower were lovely, clean and spacious. The location could not have been better. Just at the top of the Sassi so easy to get to one of the main boulevards with many restaurants in the new section overlooking the Sassi as well as the Sassi itself. Parking was not available...
