Terrific Place

Everything about staying here was great. Comfotable beds, location, host check in and out, super clean, private parking, communication...all excellent. Would definitely stay here again. It's a find in the area

Great place. Lots of space. We were three couples. Plenty of privacy and common space, both indoors and outdoors. Easy walk to a cute town, L’Isle sur la Sorgue.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem sehr geräumigen Haus sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war gut und sehr freundlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut, um von hier zu Fuß in die Stadt zu kommen. Trotzdem ist es ruhig. Das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful hosts in a large home that is on the canal and steps from the centre. Would recommend for groups of couples or families.

Location!

We had a wonderful experience in the home. It is exactly as described. Plenty of space for 4 adults. The best part was its location to town. We were able to walk everywhere. It is also an ideal home base for exploring the Provence area. We would definitely stay there again.

Geweldige accommodatie op fantastische locatie.

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad. De woning is riant en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ruim voldoende huisraat en de locatie ten opzichte van restaurants en terrassen is perfect. De ontvangst was erg goed en vriendelijk. Duidelijke uitleg over de woning, de apparatuur. We hadden gemakkelijk contact via de app op voorhand en tijdens ons verblijf. De omgeving heeft veel leuke plaatsen en activiteiten het kanoën is zeker een aanrader! Het was erg heet en dan is afkoelen in de rivier met water van 13 graden behoorlijk fris maar tijdens hete dagen erg lekker! Wij zouden zeker nog eens terugkomen!

Perfect in-town location for family or two couples

Charming property exceptionally well-located within easy walking distance of town. Spacious interior and comfortably furnished. Excellent kitchen. One full bath and two Bedrooms up and the same arrangement downstairs limit practical occupancy to a family or two couples, although there's plenty of space for more. Bathrooms are certainly adequate but could profit from updating. Hosts Pascale and Sebastien are very, very accommodating and attentive. Both speak good English. Would highly recommend!

Very delightful stay for my family

The house was very comfortable and plenty of space for my family. It has every thing that we needed. Fantastic location, less than 2 mins walk to town and market. Good base to make day trip out with easy access. We have fresh bread every morning as bakery across the street. Our hosts put up a Christmas tree and left us goodies for us. It was very nice of them. Though they were going out of town, they left a contact number in case we needed help. Of course, everything was good and we didn’t need to contact anyone. The bed was very comfortable. Thank you Sebastian and Pascale!

Lovely Stay!

Wonderful month’s long stay at this fantastic property in L’isle sur la Sorgue. Comfortable, beautiful home in a fantastic location. The house is walking distance to all the town shops, restaurants and wonderful town markets on Thursdays and Sundays. This home is beautifully decorated , roomy and has a well- stocked kitchen! Owners Pascale and Sebastien could not have been nicer. What a great couple! We highly recommend this property. And, you must try ”L’Instant T”, Sebastien’s restaurant - great! L’isle sur la Sorgue is a great town in Provence to use as a home base. Easy drives to the many beautiful hilltop towns. Thank you Pascale and Sebastien for making us feel so welcome. What great memories we have! Best to you, Donna, Kelly, Leslie, and Gary

Lovely large house on the river

We rented this house for three weeks in July/August and had a wonderful time. The house was easily large enough for eight of us and had lots of additional living space in-doors and out for us to spread out a little. The location right on one of the river's canals was perfect and allowed us to put canoes in the water at Fountain de Vaucluse and get them out again in the front garden! There was plenty of space for our bicycles also. The house is within a few minutes walk of the center of Isle sur la Sorgue for easy trips into town. A bakery opposite supplied endless hot bread at all times of the day. Sebastain and Pascale were great hosts - relaxed and forever helpful. Highly recommended. You'll love it here.

Charaktervolles tolles Haus in perfekter Lage - ruhig und doch nah zu allem / Herzliche Vermieter

Weihnachten in der Provence! Die Vermieter empfingen uns einen Tag vor Weihnachten unglaublich herzlich: Mit einem geschmückten Weihnachtsbaum, loderndem Feuer im Kamin und Pralinen. Das tolle Haus bietet alles für einen schönen Provence-Urlaub: - stadtnah und trotzdem ruhig und im Grünen am Kanal - warm und gemütlich im Winter (inkl. Kamin + Feuerholz, viele Kerzen alles da) - tolle Terrassen für den Sommer - Ausstattung - nichts fehlt Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, von der Reservierung bis zum Abschied war jeder Kontakt herzlich. Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen! Merci encore milles fois pour le sapin de Noël décoré!

Our six-week stay at this wonderful home was truly enjoyable, accommodating four to eight people comfortably. The location is wonderful, offering easy access to everything you need. It's just a five-minute walk to the edge of Old Town and charming antique shops. Directly across the street, you'll find an excellent gourmet pizza & 2 doors away, artisan coffee shop. For groceries and car rentals, the Super U is a convenient five-minute bike ride away.The house itself is a quiet space, filled with natural light from its many windows. We appreciated the well-functioning stove for our periodic cooking, and the rest of the kitchen was adequate. The interior boasts a lovely, local country feel, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing on the porch or in the living room with the French doors wide open in the afternoons. The bathrooms had a charming, rustic character, and the beds were comfortable. I even used one of the upstairs rooms as a temporary office, which worked out perfectly.Sebastian and his family were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The home served as an excellent base for exploring the local area, from nearby La Thor to as far as Marseille. The better, more local restaurants are outside of town, though there is a great crepe place around the corner. Enjoy.

Beautiful house and perfect location

This home is beautiful and so comfortable! Tons of space and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very very well stocked with all you could need to prepare a meal. The baths are spacious. The beds are very comfortable.There are two lovely porches on which to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or wine and charcuterie in the evening. Yes, the photos are accurate! And our host, Sebastien, was so kind and helpful upon our arrival!And it is the PERFECT location. There is a patisserie/coffee shop, convenience store and restaurant all within 30 seconds from the gate of the property! It is an easy walk (like 2 minutes!) into the town of L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue -- which is so quaint and fun and lovely! L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue is small so it is easy to navigate, but large enough to have everything you are likely to need and the people are very engaging. And the river running through the town makes it like a fairy tale! I read so many blogs about the right places to base your stay in Provence -- well, if you have a car -- this is IT! Easy drives to Gordes, Avignon, Rousillon, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Saint Remy, etc etc etc! And all the wineries!! Thank you, Sebastien! We hope to visit again soon!

Blissful accommodation in a truly gorgeous town

Some of us had visited L’Isle before, albeit many years ago, and had fond memories. We wanted to share the beauty of the town and the area with friends so were seeking a large, centrally located, self catering house. And, boy, did we strike lucky! This house is such a comfortable home from home - but I’m willing to bet your own home isn’t half as well equipped in terms of glassware and crockery! Air conditioning throughout (which we really needed) and plenty of comfortable spaces to relax inside and out. Our firm favourite was the river at the end of the garden, and early evening quickly became ‘feet dangling’ time. Perfect relief for our numerous mosquito bites! The location couldn’t be better, a short stroll to the town centre but away from noise and totally private. Make sure your stay includes a Sunday, for one of the best markets in France! One word of caution- the lovely owners are in the process of developing a restaurant immediately behind the property and I fear this will be an intrusion on the relaxing solitude of this property. The outside tables are immediately below the balcony and will also limit access to the river. Pity.

A beautiful house in a wonderful village

We spent a week (from 18th till 25th of june) in l'isle sur la Sorgue which is a perfect time to go there. The house is very well equipped. We were there with four adults but the house can easily be used by eigth persons. The location is perfect with the centre just around the corner. Avignon, Carpentras and the wonderful Fontaine de Vaucluse are all nearby. Not far from the centre of l'isle you can swim in the clear and fresh water of the river Sorgue next to a park where you can relax or picknick. Or take a drink on one of the terraces. What a wonderful holiday we had!

Fantastic - highly recommended!!

From the moment we arrived to the gated facility, it was an amazing month that went by so fast we couldn’t believe it! We could easily live there forever. There are only two bathrooms so more than two couples could be a challenge waiting for bathroom time but it worked for us! Anything we needed was available with a fast text to the owner who was wonderful and fun to spend time with! The Patisseries just across the street and another just 1/2 block away we’re great for breakfast! The town itself was just a short walk (1 block) away and it’s Sunday market is amazing. We’ll be back! Loved our stay!!

Wonderful Home in a Beautiful Setting

This home in Isle-sur-la Sorgue went beyond our expectations. The house is lovely with big open rooms and a comfortable, inviting patio on the front and one on the back as well. It is very nicely furnished, and it had everything we needed and more for our 2 week stay. For 2 couples it was wonderful to have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on both the main level and the upstairs level. The location is perfect right in the middle of town with a bakery and pizza restaurant right across the street. We loved the garden setting of the home with its private gated entrance to the property and its parking area right next to the house. Sebastien was very responsive to any and all of our questions and needs. In addition, as an added bonus, the l’Instant T restaurant that Sebastien runs which is located at the back of the property is in a beautiful setting and has wonderful food as well.
