Väldigt bra
Vi bodde i en lägenhet där fyra personer hade kunnat bo, fräsct och rent, kök och möjlighet till att laga mat fanns. Restaurangen precis utanför är billig och serverar god typisk costa ricansk mat

Don't be fooled - this place is kind of a dump.
The hotel doesn't look as it is in the photos at all. We had the deluxe apartment, which has two rooms with double beds, a bathroom, and a kitchenette in the hall between the two rooms. The building is weird - entry is in part of a strip mall in an office that sells tours and parking is around the side of the building (a walk away). The place was pretty clean, although we did find a suspicious dark curly hair on one of the dishes...be sure to wash before using anything. The first night we were there we realized there is no hot water spigot (so have fun figuring that out). One of the beds broke when we laid on it (the mattress fell through to the floor on one side) and the sink in the bathroom is broken as well - the top basin part isn't attached to the pedestal, so if you rest your hand on the side of the sink it wobbles like it is going to fall to the floor.
Here's the one faucet that turns on the shower.
Broken bed - when we looked underneath there was a layer of cardboard and previous repair?
Don't lean your hand on this sink - the top part is not attached!

The cost of each night is way too high for a motel style lodging. Noisy, and greasy in the room because there is a kitchenette in the room. Very greasy smell. The owner very helpful and kind. He has tours that are super inexpensive. Nice guy.

Unfortunately, the Lord did not look good, I rent a place that has exactly the photographs as they look in the system, if you had any problem, you should communicate it, your story is unique in 5 years. See the comments of other clients and Jusgue you.

Absolutely loved the patio! The location was great to visit stores and restaurants. The room was cozy and comfortable. We loved being able to cook if we wanted to and the staff was amazing.

This hotel was not as described in pictures.
We could not find the hotel with our GPS. We asked the locals and they could not direct us to the hotel. The surrounding area in which we were driving was not safe and we did not want to leave our car parked anywhere in this area. The hotel was not as described in the pictures. We had to drive to a safer area to book a room and we lost all our money deposit on this hotel. This was the worst experience we could imagine on vacation.

Close to town center. Very very noisy from 5:00 AM to 1:00AM. Located on a very busy street. Forget the nice advertised balcony and view, which is why i choose this place. The balcony is 4 ft wide with a view on the main busy street over a steel roof top.

Quiet, clean and low-key downtown
Comfortable and quite and great location for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. Convenient parking by back patio, which features privacy plantings. Just four units.

Great place and location!
What a perfect place to stay! If visiting La Fortuna I highly recommend. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved having coffee each morning on back patio surrounded by green lush beautiful plants. Location is walking distance to restaurants and shopping square. Great hospitality.

Family experiencing the real Costa Rican culture.
Great location. We were able to take a short walk to breakfast,lunch and dinner. Very clean. Quiet. Our lower level room offered a back porch which we loved. Cold refrigerator. Great laundry service and due to booking online, very easy check in and check out.

Good Value Accomdation
Good value for money. Area was quiet and back patio was a plus. Room was musty and towels not replaced as indicated. Overall good place to stay in La Fortuna.

Excuse the towels they change if you indicate it, for that there are signs that say change or clean my room you never indicated it.

Lack of service
This is a good place to stay if you have made your own plans and speak Spanish. While I was here I was not asked if I needed help with tours and the reception has limited hours so even when I wanted to ask, no one was there. At check out I wanted to leave my suitcase and go out before I left but the language barrier prevented me from doing so. Overall, not for me and I wouldn’t recommend this accomodation.

Spacious for a family
Hotel is located in La Fortuna at the end of the main road. Quick 5 minute walk to main area. Lots of restaurants and shops. About a 30 - 40 minute drive to Arenal Volcano area. Easily accessible. Staff was amazing. Checked us in early and helped with booking our tours. Nice affordable place for a family.

Great place to stay to visit Arenal. The hotel gave us really good info about the area and were super helpful with all questions asked. It made our stay very easy. The room was also spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good condition.

Nice hotel, walking distance to town
Very pleased with the room - more like a suite with two rooms and small kitchen. HVAC and ceiling fan to escape the heat. Small patio out back with table and chairs. Private parking. Easy walk to downtown area and driving distance to local attractions. Clean and quiet.

A great location and a good deal for the price!
La Fortuna Rooms is a very budget friendly apartment-style place. Was definitely adequate, had decent amenities and clean enough but a no-frills place for sure. For the price/location it was a good deal:)

Convenient, well managed apartment hotel
We liked the spaciousness of the apartment, the cooking things. The A/C in the bed room. We wished we managed to get the apartment away from the road (noise). Koky, the owner was super friendly and helpful.

Vi boede på La Fortuna Rooms i fire nætter med vores to børn. La Fortuna Rooms ligger helt centralt i byen og i gåafstand til restauranter og butikker. Værelserne er pæne, rene og med en hyggelig terrasse. Ejeren er meget venlig og hjælpsom. Vulkanen Arenal kan ses fra både gården og gaden. Det eneste minus ved hotellet er at der er en del trafikstøj fra gaden.

Great apartment in La Fortuna
We loved this apartment. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I was sick during my stay and this place was perfect, it felt just like being at home. The apartment has one bedroom at the entrance with a fan and a separate bedroom with air con and a TV. The bed was comfortable and had nice blankets and sheets. They even had an extra soft, fuzzy blanket. The Aircon worked well and the tv had a few English channels which was nice. The hot water worked well and there is secured parking in a lot behind the apartments.The kitchen was handy for making our own meals and snacks. The balcony has a little jungle with lizards ,birds etc. Our room was cleaned everyday, no matter what time we went out. There is a Maxi Pali just down the road if you have a car or a Super Mega within walking distance. There is a little restaurant out front of the apartments which has casado and other meals for about 1800 colones. At the other end of town is a pupuseria which has the most delicious, pupusas, tacos platano maduro etc for great prices. There are alot of restaurants and shops within walking distance and the shops off of the main st are cheaper .

Nice aparthotel
The apartments itself is good, the inner walls are thin, so you can hear everything in the room. But the wall separating the rooms are solid, so no complaints on that part. It's spacious, the patio is nice and the place only has 7 apartments, so it;s not crowded. The owners are friendly, helpful and flexible. Their is only one air conditioning in the apartment, but it gets the job done. Improvements to be made:1. Not all rooms have a tv. 2.Needs more hooks to hang up clothes in the rooms and bathroom. 3. The owners close their photo/copy shop at around 6pm which also serve as the check in counter. If you arrive late, you will have to call them which I was not informed about by hotel.com. But they live close by and arrived within a couple of minutes to check us in. Area: it's in front of a school and next too a bank and some small shops. The area is nice, and 3 blocks away from the main center of La Fortuna. As with most places 3 blocks away from the center has price difference when you look at restaurants and souvenirs shops. The best thing: The best thing of this place was the local small restaurant in the same building. The food is good, local and very cheap. The only thing, but that is as most things in Costa Rica their service is slow. I would recommend this apartment, I didn't expect it to be this good, it exceeded my expectations. It has the comfort of a home, with the small kitchen, attentive owners and service. I will be using this place again in the future.

Appartement gelegen in het dorp
Toen we in het appartement incheckten was het voor ons niet helemaal duidelijk waar dat moest, omdat er geen receptie aanwezig is. Inchecken kan in winkel beneden het appartement. Hotel ligt in het dorp wat zorgt voor winkels en eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Nadeel hiervan is dat je geen dieren in ziet. Vanuit La Fortuna kunnen diverse excursies geboekt worden. Appartement wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt, is eenvoudig ingericht maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Lekker balkon om te zitten.
