The apartment :
The apartment is located in a nice chalet of 6 apartments, on the road to the Col des Aarravis. Very luminous thanks to its southern exposure, you will be charmed by the magnificent view on the mountain and the village below. It is spacious and has a ski room on the first floor.

- Family dining table for 6 guests, to enjoy good meals with family or friends.
- Kitchen open on the living room, fully equipped: fridge, oven, microwave, plates, toaster, kettle, manual coffee maker, dishwasher, raclette machine ...

Night space :
- Bedroom 1 : double bed 140 x 190 cm, chest of drawers
- Bedroom 2: double bed 140 x 190 cm, chest of drawers
- Bedroom 3: two single beds, desk, wardrobe. Ideal for a child.
- Bathroom with bathtub, washbasin, WC.
- Laundry: washing machine, clothes line, freezer, ironing board and iron.

Exterior :
- Balcony of 5 m². A deckchair, a table and 2 chairs in summer.
- Shared garden of about 600 m², all around the chalet. The south side is enclosed, the north side is not.
- Ski room on the first floor of the residence.

Nearby :
- The chalet overlooks the village, which is 500 m away. We go down there on foot...La Giettaz is a charming little Savoyard village, very authentic, located between La Clusaz (12kms) and Mégève (15kms).
- The ski area of 150 kms extends to Combloux and Megève. A shuttle in season allows to reach the Contamines-Montjoie area.
- Shops in the village: a tobacconist's shop/press/souvenirs and bar, a mini-market, which also serves as a bakery, 3 restaurants, 1 hotel, 1 bakery, 1 tourist information office with 1 entertainer available, in high season.

Activities :
- Downhill skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, sledding and dog sledding are the main activities in winter.
- Discovery of the fauna and the flora, accompanied by a local guide; hiking in the mountains, swimming at the Flumet lake (5kms);
- Visit of a fruit farm (Reblochon cheese making) and mountain pasture farms.
- The "Fête des Alpages" takes place every year, on August 15th, at the top of the Col des Aravis, at La Giettaz.
- The Tour de France in early July regularly passes the Aravis pass, and sometimes even in front of the chalet! Next visit on 16 July 2023.

Transport :
- The car is the best means of transport
- A free shuttle bus to Le Plan (3.5 km), located 50 m below the chalet, passes every 1/2 hour during the day, during the winter season.
- A cab is available in the village.
- Bus connections to the surrounding villages : Flumet, Praz-sur-Arly, La Clusaz are also available.

Other remarks :
- The ski slopes are 4 km away
- Crib and high chair available upon request
- Electric barbecue usable only on the balcony, not inside or in the common garden.
