Close to Zion
This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home was in a very quiet neighborhood, only a few blocks away from a large grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store and gas station. The drive to Zion NP was about 30 minutes, a beautiful drive. The house has had some recent updates with a large, well stocked kitchen and new carpeting throughout, the living room furniture looked to be relatively new. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were dated but clean. In the VRBO description of the house it says Netflix is available, this is a little misleading, Netflix is only available if you have your own Netflix account. While the interior of the home was clean and in good condition the exterior was in need of some attention. I would recommend this property if your planning a stay in this area.

Convenient to Zion
Jed's house was a right-turn away from the road to Zion..very convenient! House seemed recently renovated. Lovely kitchen and newer furniture throughout. Great set-up for more than one couple with 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Great restaurant across the street for breakfast, lunch or quick dinners. If there had been a gas grill, we would have considered cooking an evening or two. I thought i left behind a bag with make-up and vsrious travel items, and Jed's wife kindly checked the house for it. Turned put it was stuffed in a backpack but Jed responded very quickly to my text about it. All in all, we were very comfortable at the house.

Great place to stay!
We (4 adults, 1 toddler) had a great stay when coming to the area for our vacation. The place was clean, tidy and felt right at home. Zion National Park was less than 30 minutes away and a direct shot from La Verkin.

Lovin' LaVerkin
Property was awesome. Better than advertised. Clean and provisioned. We have been visiting the area for the last ten years and LaVerkin was a great location for Zion, Kolob Terance, Cedar Breaks and the lakes west of Hurricane. Jed was great with prompt, helpful communications.

Nicely done
Everything was well done and the kitchen was well stocked. I wish the wood stove was still installed however the heating system did a great job. Perhaps a gas bbq would be a great addition. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house.

Beautiful home in a quiet area!
My boyfriend and I stayed here along with a couple friends while visiting Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. The home was perfect and fit our needs. I loved the beautiful view out the kitchen window!

Feels bigger than it is!
The property lists a pretty modest total square feet. It is really well designed, because it feels like it is a lot bigger. All of the rooms are very spacious. As a bonus there is a pecan tree out back. During the right time of year you get a supply of fresh from the tree pecans! My one complaint has to do with the kitchen. The knives are dreadful. There is no sharpening stone or steal, so they barely cut. Other than that, the place is terrific. The owner's communication and responsiveness are second to none. Overall a great place to stay.

Great Zion Jump Off Stay
Tidy spacious 3 bedroom close to Zion with all the amenities of home. We our extra long weekend stay in La Verkin that was in close proximity to my scheduled race on Gooseberry Mesa and gave us plenty of time to explore Zion NP, too. This sweet little home is in a quite neighborhood not far of the main highway. There is trail access to the La Verkin Monument just down the street and our local favorite cafe, River Rock Roasting is right across the way. So much to do and see in the area and I would highly suggest making this your jumping off point for adventures. Communication with the owners was great and the house rule were well spelled out and identified. Bonus: the neighbors had a few baby pygmy goats for entertainment out back!

I couldn't enough nice things about the owner of this property. He was so kind and good to with with. The bedrooms were so comfortable and the location is great if you are trying to do things in St George as well as go to Zions. Very peaceful location.

Well Appointed House in a Great Location
The house has everything your could need. There were lots of extra items (like plenty of spare pillows, blankets, charcoal, lighter fluid, laundry amenities, etc.). The refrigerator and cabinets were stocked with lots of goodies from previous travelers with a "take some, leave some" approach, that works well. The appliances are upgraded and modern and the combo Keurig coffee pot and individual pod brewer combo was awesome! They beds are comfy and nice. The location is right down the street from the Zion road and a major grocery store. The yard is well taken care of and very nice. We had a great time and would return for future trips. Thank you so much for everything!

This beautiful house near Zion NP is very clean and modern and has everything that we need.
This is a very clean house with beautiful yard. Its kitchen has good quality kitchenware and ample supplies to normal family cooking's need. And most equipments are pretty new. View is very good too (can see cows and horses directly from kitchen and dining windows). Neighborhood is safe and elegant. Owner is very responsible. We are very satisfied. Thanks!

Cute house great location
We came to visit Zion and it was the perfect location. It had so many cute spots for coffee and food on our way into the park. The park was only a 30 min drive. The house was spacious and comfortable. The backyard was so charming and had a beautiful view of the sunset. We were definitely happy with our stay!

Close to mountain biking with a country atmosphere
Good location to access mountain biking, ATV, Zions NP, and other attractions. It has a country atmosphere and attached garage to put the toys. If you want the total farm experience, close to restaurants, hiking trails and outdoors, this is the place. Pick up the pecans from 4 trees.

Christmas 2020
The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted adequately for all of our holiday meals and other meal prep. We enjoyed the use of the fireplace each evening after drives through Zion NP and especially all day Christmas Day while we shared family time. The neighbors do have chickens that came into the yard and the roosters challenged us to not sleep late. Besides the chickens, we enjoyed bird watching with several varieties visiting the pecan trees in the yard. Beyond the property, La Verkin and neighboring Toquerville provide excellent Christmas light viewing opportunities. We did not take advantage of the notes provide by the owners for local recommendations mostly because we already had planned activities and wanted to limit our time in public establishments this year. In short, this property was a comfortable gathering point providing for all our needs while enjoying a Christmas with family and taking in the natural beauty of the region.

Great location, but a little tired.
The property is in a great location if you're looking to do many of the classic bike rides in the area. House worked great for a group of guys, and it was clean, but its a bit dated so I'm not its the place I'd take the wife. Garage was great to have for the expensive bikes. A gas barbeque would have been handy.

Good time in southern Utah
We would highly recommend this home for a homebase while visiting Zion national park. It is in a nice neighborhood with hikes right down the street, a delicious restaurant right around the corner and a grocery store just minutes away. The house is spacious, the kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are comfortable. The landlord is very responsive. Basically, this home has everything you need for exploring the local national parks.

Relax with a great view too.
We enjoyed our three week stay at Gooseberry Farm. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and watching the goats, chickens and cattle right from our windows/backyard was a big plus too. We found many hiking trails in and around La Verkin, Hurricane and St. George. Lots of good places to eat and everyone is so friendly, it made staying here so enjoyable. Beautiful home overlooking mountains!
We loved our stay at this place. It’s a clean, well furnished home in a scenic setting. You can see goats and horses from your windows. And yet all the eating places are about 10 mins away. We would like to come back in warmer weather and do some real hiking!

Loved the location, close to Zion. You have everything you may need conveniently down the street.... market, gas station, great places to eat, coffee shop. We cooked steaks two days in a row outside on their grill, it was awesome. The baby goats in the adjacent yard were adorable. This house has everything you can need. Jed was very kind and helpful if I had any questions. My first time here and hopefully not my last. This home is a winner!! 🏡💖
