Lovely place
This was a very nice house for our weekend stay. Very clean and well kept. Close to Rock City and Lookout Mountain. The host was great about keeping in touch and making sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend for anyone needing a place to stay!

Cozy home base for sightseeing
The home is well appointed and cozy to come back to after sightseeing. Perfect location for reaching many area attractions easily. It is close to the highway, but we still enjoyed the mountain view and stargazing. Wonderful host is just the right amount of attentive.

Highly recommend
House was perfect for sisters trip. Clean and comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. Well stocked with everything we needed and more. Janet responded to questions immediately, but did not hover. Beautiful view. Close to busy road, but not noisy inside home.

Only 3 miles from Cloud Tree Vineyard
We had a great stay. The house was clean, and very comfortable. Would stay here again. This was a great location for the venue, the great aunt and uncles did not complain and they complain about everything. :) We were able to get them here after the wedding instead of driving back to Chattanooga after a long day.

Cozy Home for Family
We had a great experience during our one night stay, as we were driving to Florida and stopped for a short visit with family. The house was perfect for our family and was well stocked. We left something behind and the owners quickly attempted to call and email us in case we wanted to swing by and pick it up while they were cleaning. I thought that was very kind of them. We will definitely be back as we have family in LaFayette.

Great stay.
Personally, we loved the property. Walk out the back door and you can walk into a nature preserve. It is only 40 minutes from Chattanooga and secluded. If you are looking for outdoor adventures and a large city for a great price, this is it.

This was a pleasant location for our group with one exception. On arrival, the very pungent and overpowering odor of PineSol hit us. My wife is sensitive to artificial fragrances, so we had to quickly open all the windows and set the cleaning bucket and mop outside for the remainder of our stay to reduce the odor. I'm not fragrant sensitive, but I found the odor to be pretty obnoxious also. The combination of AC and opening windows and doors made the rest of the night tolerable. My wife avoided using the towels provided since they contained fabric softener fragrances. Beware of the dangers artificial fragrances pose to many people!! The new cleaning agents and fabric softeners are health and respiratory hazards to many people!

A little bit of heaven in the mountains
Upon arrival everything went smoothly with communication with Janet. The house was so clean and just as described. We came with 6 adults and 2 teenagers and had enough space so that we were all comfortable. Although we were only there for the night, we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and the checking out process was so easy. The scenery on the way up is breathtaking!! We are already planning our next stay.

New Year's Eve in the Mountains
I have never had such a wonderful New Year's Eve. The property was beautiful and there was plenty of room for our party of 8 (originally party of 10, but we had some cancellations). The grill on the deck was delightful and the fire pit was a nice addition that made our countdown special. The large screen tv was easy to work and we were able to watch UGA's victory throughout the night as well. I would 100% recommend this place for any trip and please take the time to appreciate the scenery and take a walk.

Wish we had more time!
We in the area for the Cloudland Canyon race and only there for the night. However, we would love to come back! The house was perfect for 5 adults. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were provided (soap, shampoo, cotton swabs, coffee, creamer). We enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyable weekend!
We were impressed with all the attention to the details that made us feel so welcomed. We had plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. There is Lots to do in the area. Definitely a great experience! There were puzzles, bubbles for the kids and even bowls for the dog. It was very clean as well.

Don’t let the exterior fool you
Yes, it’s a “prefabricated” or “modular” home. Basically, a double-wide trailer. However, on the inside, it is clean, comfortable, roomy, and modern. We had four adults and four children, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The host is awesome, too. Highly recommend.

Everything went well
There are few affordable homes for rent near LaFayette, GA so I’m happy we found this one. We stayed a week in July and found the house comfortable and the hostess accommodating. I would recommend it to others and will consider renting again if I’m back in the area. Thank you.

Walker County home
Pros: Janet was an excellent host. Easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. The home was exceptionally clean and the coffee bar was well stocked. The beds were excellent and slept well. We were only there for one night and did not use the stove or the grill. Cons: The road noise was loud in the front bedroom, ok in the other rooms. It is not what you would call a rustic cabin in the mountains, but it was excellent for our use. I recommend it if you are in the area to sight see, hike, fish, visit civil war areas, or golf. Not if you want a rustic mountain cabin. Once again, Janet,the host is excellent.
