“Unit was good. Could have used more info about the portable a.c. guest shower seemed to drain a little slow. Freezer access is problematic. There was a rattle in the kitchen ac vent that was annoying at times. The real negative of the trip was the foul smell coming from the water fall on the property. When the wind shifted from the north we could smell when on the balcony.”

“Excellent accommodations. We wanted an up-to-date house with views of Lake Travis, and it delivered. The best part for us was the covered deck with adjustable screens overlooking the hills and lake, so that we were never subjected to the full force of the Sun. It felt like sitting in a tree house. The interior was very functional, with good views of the lake from both dining and living areas. We particularly appreciated the built-in drawers in the master bedroom. A very livable house in a...

“The condo was peaceful. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lake. There were deer everywhere, and we even got to feed some veggies to some. There are two pools. Great stay and a nice place!”

“VBRO attempted to contact the owner numerous times on multiple days with no response. Photos of the poor and uninhabitable condition of the home were provided to VBRO. Advised owner of the property to contact VBRO for further communication and action. This was whole situation was a service failure.”

And there was no hot water to the upstairs Master shower or tub. We contacted the host first thing in the morning and he arrived with a plumber. We had a very tight schedule, and they were working in our bathroom, which was already an inconvenience. The solution was to do more work in our bathroom, which would mean turning off the water to the...

“Everything was great with lots of convenient little touches that enhanced our experience.”

“I spent my birthday at Lago Vista. Amanda South is a generous host, and despite the issues that came up, she confronted them head on and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The house was beautiful, simple, and modern. It had many mirrors, which turned my 2 cats into 8 and gave me the feeling that I've become one of those crazy cat ladies with lots of cats. That was a fun experience. The neighboorhood was a quiet one, the lake was just a few blocks away--within walking distance. A guest...

“Great stay very clean, but could be better maintained. Outdated furnitures and flaky paint. Very safe and nice neighburhood. Great stay. ”
